Theclinical Observation Of Acupoint Catgut Embedding Therapy Combined With Hua Zhuo Sheng Fa Yin For The Treatment Of Androgenetic Alopecia (yindeficiency And Dampness-heat Syndrome)

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding in the distal part and combined Hua Zhuo Sheng Fa Yin in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia(yin deficiency and dampness heat syndrome).Methods: The randomized method was used to randomly divide 84 patients into treatment group and control group.Both groups were treated by Hua Zhuo Sheng Fa Yin(Oral Chinese herbal granules).The treatment group administrated the acupoints on the distal part(Zusanli,Yinlingquan,Sanyinjiao;Fenglong,Xuehai,Quchi)every4 weeks for a total of three treatments;and the control group punctured the local hair loss area with the plum blossom needle every 2 weeks for a total of six treatments;both groups were treated for 12 weeks.The efficacy was observed at the 0th,the 2nd,the 4th,the 8th,the 12 th and the 16 th weeks.The hair loss score,greasy score,itching score,desquamation score,and hair growth score were recorded both in the two groups.And then we use the software SPSS21.0 to analyze data.Results: Before treatment,the gender,average age,duration of disease,hair loss score,itching score,greasy score,desquamation score,hair growth score,and total score for each group of the two groups was compared,all P>0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant.After 12 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate was 89.2% in the treatment group;and the total effective rate was 86.1% in the control group.The total effective rate of the two groups was compared,P> 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.After treatment,the score of hair loss,desquamation,and hair growth in the two groups was compared,all P>0.05.There was no significant difference in the above three indicators between the two groups.After treatment,the itching score and greasy score of the two groups in different weeks were compared between the two groups.At the eighth week,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;while all other weeks were P>0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant.The hair loss score,greasy score,itchingscore,desquamation score in the treatment group were statistically significant at each time point compared with base-line,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At the 16 th week,the hair growth score of the treatment group was compared with that before treatment and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but the rest of the week is meaningless(P>0.05).The hair loss score,greasy score,itching score of the control group at each time point were compared with those before treatment and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The weekly desquamation score of the control group were compared with those before treatment.From the 4th week,all were P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.The hair growth score of the control group at the 12 th and 16 th week were compared with those before the treatment and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: After 12 weeks' treatment,the distal acupoint catgut embedding combined with Hua Zhuo Sheng Fa Yin treatment of androgenetic alopecia(yin deficiency and dampness heat syndrome)can effectively improve the patient's hair loss,greasy,itching,scales.At 16 weeks,the situation began to improve in hair growth aspects.During the part of the treatment cycle,the efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding in the distal part combined with Hua Zhuo Sheng Fa Yin in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia(yin deficiency and damp heat syndrome)in the improvement of itching,greasy is better than the plum blossom needle combined with Hua Zhuo Sheng Fa Yin.After treatment for 12 weeks,hair loss,hair growth,greasy,itching and desquamation were improved in both groups.The efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding group was slightly better than that of plum blossom acupuncture group,but there was no significant difference in total efficacy between the two groups(P>0.05).
