Study On Professor Li Tingquan’s Academic Thought And Clinical Experience Of Treating Functional Constipation From Spleen And Stomach

Objective: Through the data mining analysis of the outpatient treatment of Functional Constipation,Professor Li Tingquan analyzed the syndrome differentiation,treatment and prescription of functional constipation,summarized the academic thought of "Zhi Zhong He",and summarized the clinical experience of treating Functional Constipation from the spleen and stomach under the guidance of the academic thought of "Zhi Zhong He".Methods: The complete medical records of Functional Constipation patients treated by Professor Li Tingquan from December 2018 to December 2020 were selected according to the inclusion criteria of medical records.In addition,the unified standardization of medical record data was completed with reference to the relevant standards.The method of frequency analysis was used to summarize the general information of patients,high-frequency symptom information and high-frequency drug information in the medical record data of this study.Besides,the corresponding treatment methods and main side information of each syndrome type were found compared with the original data.FP-Growth association rules were used to summarize and organize the common drug combination information.Thus,we will refine and summarize the academic thoughts and clinical experience summary of Professor Li Tingquan in treating functional constipation.Results:1.General situation analysis of patients: female patients with Functional Constipation were significantly more than male patients,and patients were more distributed in 50～59 age group(19.4%).2.Symptoms analysis: The symptom frequency analysis found that the top five symptoms in this study were dry stool,stool not smoothly flowing,stool without quantity,thirst and less frequency of stool,all of which are the main symptoms of Functional Constipation.3.Syndrome regularity: frequency analysis of Professor Li Tingquan’s real outpatient syndrome diagnosis,after communication with him,summarized the four common types of syndrome: spleen deficiency dryness and heat internal knot syndrome(38.8%),spleen deficiency dampness stagnation syndrome(19.9%),Yin deficiency and Jin deficiency syndrome(16.4%),spleen and stomach qi deficiency syndrome(13.9%).4.Relationship between prescription and credit : spleen deficiency dryness and heat internal knot syndrome: Zhi Zhu Su Jiag Tang;spleen deficiency dampness stagnation syndrome: Xiao Wen Zhong Wan;Yin deficiency and Jin deficiency syndrome: Zeng Ye Tang;spleen and stomach qi deficiency syndrome: Huang Qi Tang.5.Drug rules: Professor Li Tingquan has 60 kinds of drugs commonly used to treat Functional Constipation.The top 10 drugs in frequency are Zhi Shi、Bai Zhu、Dang Gui、Bing Lang、Ban Xia、Gua Lou、Chai Hu、Bai Shao、Tao Ren、Di Huang.The efficacy of commonly used drugs is mostly clearing heat medicine,replenishing deficiency medicine and regulating qi drugs.Common medication is mainly cold,warm and flat.Often drug taste to Xin,bitter,sweet medicine.Commonused drugs belong to the spleen,stomach,lung meridian drugs.6.Academic Thought: Professor Li Tingquan believes that " Zhi Zhong He " has two meanings: one to realize the best objective relationship between things;and also to be the way to establish and maintain this relationship.In critical treatment,it is more important to establish and maintain the balance,"He" is around a state of "Zhong",keep "Zhong" to "He",namely " Shou Zhong " principle,the embodiment of the digestive system disease is that the spleen and stomach as the acquired,located in the focal,for the source of qi and blood biochemical,qi lift hub,nutrition perfusion,maintain the normal physiological function of the spleen and stomach,to make the body to achieve a harmonious state.If this kind of harmonious state is broken,then Zhou qi,blood,jin,essence,fluid disorder,as a disease.Therefore,in the process of " Zhi Zhong He ",the spleen and stomach should be reconciled as the root.Spleen and stomach He,Qi and blood are sufficient,Qi Ji is harmonious,viscera is muderate,Zhi Zhong He.Conclusion: According to Professor Li Tingquan’s treatment of Functional Constipation case data analysis results,Professor Li Tingquan under the thought of " Zhi Zhong He ",from the perspective of "spleen and stomach theory" differentiation analysis,treatment and method,emphasizing transport focus,protect the spleen and stomach for this,respect but not mud,summed up the rich clinical experience,for us to learn.
