Objective:The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with medicine on migraine based on the theory of calming shen and relieving pain, and to explore the possible mechanism of this therapy on migraine,so as to provide practical basis for future experimental research.Methods:Sixty-six patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 33 cases in each group.Treatment group: acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine. The acupuncture method of tranquilizing and relieving pain was used, once a day,5 times a week, for 2 weeks. The traditional Chinese medicine is modified by Toutoushengyu recipe, one dose per day,and five doses per week for two weeks.Control group: Western medicine treatment, taking rizatriptan benzoate capsule(national medicine Zhunzi H20060352,production unit: Sichuan Zitonggong Pharmaceutical limited company.),once a day,10mg/ time, continuous treatment for 10 days.Compare the difference of headache index between the two groups before and after treatment to judge its clinical curative effect, and observe the content of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)in serum, migraine specific quality of life scale(MSQ),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depressive scale(SDS).Results:1.Comparison of headache index: after treatment, the headache index of both groups decreased, and the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).According to the change of headache index before and after treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 94%,while that of the control group was 91%.The difference was statistically significant by rank sum test(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group.2.Comparison of serum 5-HT content: After treatment, the serum 5-HT content of patients in both groups increased, and the treatment group was superior to the control group, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).3.Comparison of MSQ score,SAS score and SDS score: after treatment, the MSQ scores of the two groups were improved, and the treatment group was superior to the control group, with statistical significance(P < 0.05);After treatment, the SAS score and SDS score of the two groups decreased, and the treatment group was superior to the control group, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The combination of acupuncture and medicine based on the theory of calming shen and relieving pain has a definite clinical effect on migraine, which can effectively relieve the headache symptoms of patients and is worthy of clinical application.2.Acupuncture combined with medicine based on the theory of calming shen and relieving pain can increase the serum 5-HT content of patients, which provides laboratory index support for exploring the possible mechanism of this therapy.3.Acupuncture combined with medicine based on the theory of calming shen and relieving pain can improve the quality of life of patients and their anxiety and depression.
