Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of the fire needle combined with autohemotherapy to ameliorate the pruritus symptoms of neurodermatitis in order to provide clinical evidence for the treatment of neurodermatitis by this method and to provide reference for the clinical treatment of pruritus-related diseases. Methods:The 66 patients with neurodermatitis were randomly divided into two groups according to the random number table method. The 33 patients in the treatment group were treated with fire needle that punctures local skin lesions combined with autohemotherapy that injects into 4 acupoints,Quchi(LI11),Xuehai(SP10),Zusanli(ST36),Sanyinjiao(SP6),on the opposite side of blood draw.Fire acupuncture treatment once every 3 days for one consecutive month and autohemotherapy treatment once every 7 days for four consecutive weeks as a course of treatment. The 33 patients in the control group received oral cetirizine hydrochloride tablets 10 mg/time,once a day,for one consecutive30 days as a course of treatment and the two groups were followed up for 3 months after the treatment. The VAS scores,four-item pruritus questionnaire scores,Xie-chuandao pruritus severity scores before and after treatment and 2 weeks after treatment and skin lesion morphology scores and DLQI scale scores before and after treatment were recorded for comprehensive analysis and comparison.Results:1.Clinical efficacy: In the total effective rate, the treatment group was 96.97% and the control group was 81.25%.The difference in total effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of clinical symptom scores: After the comparison of the VAS score, the four-item itch questionnaire score, the Xie-Chuandao itch severity score, and the skin lesion morphology score before and after treatment between the two groups,it was found that there was no difference in the scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),the scores of the two groups were reduced after treatment, suggesting that the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group’s score after treatment(P<0.05).3.DLQI quality of life scale score: After treatment, the DLQI scale scores of the two groups were reduced, and the score of the control group was higher than that of the treatment group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.After 3 months of follow-up,the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the recurrence of itching symptoms.Conclusion:1.Fire needle combined with autohemotherapy and oral cetirizine hydrochloride tablets have curative effects in the treatment of neurodermatitis, but the clinical effect of fire needle combined with autohemotherapy and improving the quality of life of patients are better than oral cetirizine hydrochloride tablets.2.Fire needle combined with autohemotherapy is better than oral cetirizine hydrochloride tablets in improving the recurrence of itching symptoms.3.Fire needle combined with autohemotherapy has a definite effect in treating neurodermatitis, which is suitable for clinical promotion.
