Clinical Observation On Liaoxian Decoction Combined With Fire Needle In The Treatment Of Neurodermatitis

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of herbal medicine decoction(Liaoxian Decoction)combined with fire needle in the treatment of neurodermatitis of blood deficiency and wind-dryness.Methods:A total of 80 cases of neurodermatitis patients lined with inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 40 cases in each group.There were 77 cases completed the study and 3 cases fell off.Patients in the treatment group were treated with oral administration of Liaoxian Decoction and those in the control group were treated with oral administration of Runzao Zhiyang Capsules,with fire needles treatment in two groups.The total score of before treatment,the 30th day of treatment,the 60th day of of treatment and the 90th day of treatment were recorded and clinical effects was evaluated in the 90 days' treatment course.Before and after treatment,pruritus degree and living quality condition of the two groups of patients were compared and evaluated,with safety evaluation and side effects observation in the period of treatment.Results:1.The total score between groups in the end of the 30th day of treatment were compared and there had no statistical significance(P>0.05).The differences was statistically significant in the the end of 60th day of treatment(P<0.05).There was significant difference at the end of the 90th treatment(P<0.01).2.At the end of the 90th days,in the treatment group,14 cases of clinical patients were cured,17 cases had obvious effects,5 cases had effects and 3 cases were invalid and the total effective rate was 79.49%;in the control group,3 cases of clinical patients were cured,15 cases had obvious effects,12 cases had effects and 8 cases were invalid and the total effective rate was 47.37%.There were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.01).3.At the end of the 90th days,pruritus degree score and DLQI integration were compared in group respectively,which had significant differences(P<0.01).Meanwhile,pruritus degree score and DLQI integration were compared between groups respectively,which also had significant differences(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.Liaoxian Decoction combined with fire needle can significantly decrease the total score of neuodermatitis patients,which can release pruritus degree and improve patients' living quality.2.Liaoxian Decoction combined with fire needle was a safe and effective therapy to treat neurodermatitis of blood deficiency and wind-dryness.
