| ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of Jiaweiyanxuerougan decoction on the hemoglobin,erythrocyte volume and the scores of postoperative symptoms of intertrochanteric fracture after PFNA.MethodsFrom March 2019 to January 2020,80 postoperative PFNA patients who were hospitalized in the department of orthopedics,Foshan hospital of traditional Chinese medicine were selected in this research.They were divided into experiment group and control group by the method of random number table,with 40 cases in each group.From the day after the operation to the 6th day after the operation,two groups were treated with the same basic Rehabilitation therapy.Additionally,the experimental group were treated with Jiaweiyanxuerougan decoction 400mL,one time/day.Hemoglobin(Hb)and hematocrit(Hct)level were observed on the 1st、3rd and 6th day after surgery.The hidden blood loss on the 3rd and 6th day after the operation,postoperative blood loss and the score of graded quantized of postoperative symptoms and signs were recorded.To evaluated the clinical efficiency and safety of Jiaweiyangxuerougan decoction objectively by analyzing the data statistically.Results1.There was no significant difference in gender,age,body mass index,injury site,fracture classification,intraoperative blood loss between two groups(P>0.05),indicating the data were comparable.2.There was no statistically significant difference in the level of Hb and Hct value on the first day after surgery between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,in the 3rd and 6th postoperative day,the level of Hb of experimental group was higher than the control group.The level of Hct of experimental group was higher than the control group in the 6th postoperative day(P<0.05 or 0.01).3.There was no significant difference in the amount of wound bleeding 24h after surgery between the two groups(P>0.05).But the hidden blood loss in the experimental group from the day after surgery to the 3rd day,and from the 3rd day to the 6th day after surgery was less than that in the control group(P<0.05 or 0.01).4.There was no significant difference in the scores of postoperative symptoms between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was clinically comparable.After treatment,the decrease of scores in the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).ConclusionJiaweiyangxuerougan decoction has a good clinical effect for the elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures after surgery,which can effectively control the postoperative hidden blood lossand improve the postoperative symptoms and signs.The mechanism may be related to the fact that Jiaweiyangxuerougan decoction can increase hemoglobin and reduce hidden blood loss after operation. |
