| Cooperate Culture is the core competence of an enterprise for sustainable development,playing an significant role in operation and management of the enterprise for its business strategy.With the deepen development of construction industry,construction enterprises could face stiff competition,not just from the technical level,but from the corporate culture.A Construction Company is a comprehensive state-owned large-scale construction enterprise,The company has changed so greatly over the past six decades,but there are many problems in its corporate culture construction remaining to be solved.Therefore,it is highly necessary to do further study on the corporate culture construction in A Construction Company.Based on the available theories of cooperate culture,the paper conducts an in-depth analysis on the specific problems of cooperate culture construction in A Construction Company with various of research methods such as case analysis method,document analysis method,interview method and so on.The paper introduces the present situation of corporate culture construction in A Construction Company,and then gives a profound analysis of major problems in corporate culture construction and its contributing factors from four aspects,namely,spiritual culture,behavioral culture,institutional culture and physical culture.Afterwards,the paper puts forward an optimized proposal on corporate culture construction in A Construction Company from four aspects.The results show that A Construction Company gives importance to corporate culture construction.To advance the progress of both behavioral culture and physical culture construction,A Construction Company makes active efforts to create an unique spiritual culture and improve the company rules and regulations.The paper summarizes research on the problems of corporate culture construction in A Construction Company from four points of view,namely,spiritual aspect,institutional aspect,behavioral aspect and material aspect.The problems are as follow: First,in spiritual aspect,spiritual culture hasn’t taken root in the heart of employees.Furthermore,the employees were lack of organizational identity;Second,in institutional aspect,team execution ability should be improved.Then,the employees failed to adhere themselves with the company rules and regulations.Again,the incentive mechanism is far from perfect;Next,in behavioral aspect,the employees had low enthusiasm in company activities participation.Besides,the company failed to let paragons of virtue serve as role models for all.Last,In material aspect,on the one hand,upgrading of brand image is badly needed.On the other hand,there were only one-way communication carriers for employees to get information.Generally,the problems are accountable for many reasons as following: In spiritual aspect,corporate culture construction is not valued highly enough.Furthermore,Lack of knowledge and training are the major obstacles in spiritual culture construction.In institutional aspect,insufficient in advocacy and communication for the institutional culture,resulting in poor execution,and the incentive mechanism is far from perfect because the needs and opinions of ordinary working staff were ignored.In behavioral aspect,the employees had low enthusiasm in company activities and the reason behind apparent the lack of creativity.There has been a few publicity about role models allowing the employees to get less understanding about exemplary deeds.In material aspect,the company suffered through inadequate input on brand building.On the other hand,there exists no interactivity in the existing communication carrier.Based on above mentioned research and analysis,this paper put forward an optimized proposal in a practical and feasible way from four aspect.In spiritually,to deepen their understanding of spiritual culture,the company should bolster efforts to encourage employees to study theory and increase their knowledge.Besides,the company should leverage the principal role of employees in corporate culture construction and encourage their participation so as to reinforce their sense of being masters of the company.In institutionally,first of all,the company should build a well-structure pool of talents who are equipped with professional skills.Secondly,the company should make education programs on company rules and regulations for all.What’s more,the company should recognize and respect the needs of each and every employee,bringing the most satisfaction to employees.In behaviorally,the company should embrace up-to-date knowledge and fresh ideas,and break new ground on a new cultural activity.Next,the company should give wide publicity about exemplary deeds.In addition,to enhance the sense of responsibility,both soft and hard tactics should be conducted to raise awareness of the need for personal responsibility.In materially,the company should upgrade its image in an all-round way,and build a communication channel for employees to communicate and interaction.In conclusion,the results indicate that the study will not only help the company achieve its initial objective — to enhance its corporate culture construction for a better future — it also provides advice and suggestions for the similar construction enterprise concentrating on corporate culture construction as well. |
