Old Urban Community From The Perspective Of Full Age Public Space Renewal Design

With the transformation of urban construction and development in China,from the previous incremental expansion to the stock upgrading,the existing urban living environment has become the focus of the current urban construction,and the old community is an important part of the existing urban living environment.More and more attention has been paid.In recent years,the state has vigorously promoted the renewal of old communities in order to improve people’s living environment.As an important carrier of behavior and social communication of old community residents,public space can no longer meet the needs of residents’ daily life after a long period of use.These old community public space environment is becoming an important challenge on the road of urban renewal and development.This paper takes the public space of the old urban community as the main research object,mainly discusses the following aspects.First of all,it combs the research status of public space at home and abroad,discusses the role of community public space,and clarifies the importance of improving the public space of old community.Secondly,the problems faced by the old community and the problems existing in its public space are analyzed,and the feasibility of the whole age transformation of the old community is discussed in combination with the cases of community renewal at home and abroad.Then,based on the problem of the old community public space,three optimization directions are put forward from the perspective of full age,such as aging,generalization and promotion,and the renewal strategy of the old community public space is further put forward.Finally,take Nanjing Wuding Xincun community as the empirical object,carries on the renewal design to the community public space.At present,the users of public space in the old community are mainly the elderly group,and the phenomenon of single use group brings the problem of insufficient vitality of the site.Based on this,this paper from the perspective of full-age,the old community public space renewal design research,hope to create a new design to meet the needs of community residents of different ages and dynamic public space,attract different age groups to return to the old community public space,promote interaction and communication between different age groups,achieve intergenerational integration,stimulate the lack of vitality of the site,and then improve the humanistic environment of the old community space,let the old community become a regional community and spiritual community,and provide ideas for the optimization and transformation of the public space of other old communities.
