Research On Updated Design Of Community Public Space From The Perspective Of Urban Repair Theory

Since entering the 21 st century,China’s urbanization process has been advancing,the urban population has been increasing,and the urban development model has changed from the incremental model to the stock model.With the promotion and implementation of "urban double repair" policy,the impact of this concept in solving urban problems and improving environmental quality has become more effective,and the community as an important research object in the renewal design reflects the needs of residents’ daily life.In this context,from the perspective of urban repair,this paper discusses the path of community public space renewal and activation.This thesis defines the relevant concepts,reviews the relevant research results and research progress at home and abroad,and expounds the significance of the concept of urban repair to the renewal and development of community public space.The thesis also clarify the theoretical connotation of "urban repair" and explore the applicability and value significance of its introduction into community public space.Besides,three typical communities in Chongqing were investigated by field investigation and questionnaire,and their problems and causes were discussed.Then from four aspects of the functional structure,space activation,cultural memory,landscape environment to explore the community public space renewal path,and thus guide the design practice.The main findings are as follows:(1)This thesis discusses in detail the connotation of urban repair theory and analyzes the differences between it and its application in community public space.From the scope of application,object angle,repair method and repair result of theory introduction,this thesis discusses the relationship between urban repair theory and community public space,and clarifies that it can provide theoretical and practical guidance for the renewal of community public space.(2)Through field investigation,interview and questionnaire survey,this paper investigates typical communities in Chongqing,taking current situation and residents’ needs as the direction,and systematically analyzes the different problems in each part.(3)The theory of urban repair is introduced into community public space,and the updated design strategy under the guidance of urban repair theory is put forward,that is,the optimization strategy of community function structure by maintaining the diversity of use function,enhancing the accessibility of traffic space and maintaining the integrity of infrastructure.
