Under the background of stock planning and fine design,the discrete distribution characteristics of micro urban spaces can contribute to the integrity of urban public space system,the fairness and applicability of urban residents.The development of micro urban spaces will help urban collage and repair the fragmented texture,return to the humanized scale,and pay attention to the micro and specific space construction.Especially for the micro urban spaces in cold city,as the most frequent interaction space with residents,how to reshape the material carrier to promote the seasonal stay activities and enhance the quality of all-weather outdoor activities of cold city residents is the key issue under this background.In this paper,four blocks in the main urban area of Harbin with different construction time were selected as the research object.After a comprehensive survey of the current situation of micro urban spaces,we conducted a stratified sampling based on the types of micro space,and selected 77 sample spaces to collect the data of spatial environmental characteristics and stay activities in the transition season and cold season respectively.Through literature review and theoretical research,this paper constructs the measurement index system of micro urban spaces in cold city,including 40 indicators in seven dimensions of regional measurement,functional business type,spatial scale,interface form,street greening,street facilities and maintenance degree,and constructs the measurement index of stay activity intensity in terms of stay rate and stay density in terms of crowd activity.Firstly,the overall spatial environment characteristics,the spatial environment characteristics of various types of areas,and the micro urban spaces environment characteristics of various spatial types are analyzed quantitatively to grasp the current situation of micro urban spaces in cold cities;secondly,the stay activities obtained by behavior annotation method are converted into statistical data to analyze the overall characteristics,temporal characteristics and spatial characteristics of crowd activities;finally,the research results are summarized.According to the characteristics of space environment and the intensity of crowd activity,the mathematical model of stay activity intensity in micro urban spaces of cold city in different seasons was established by using multiple regression analysis.Based on the correlation between environmental characteristics of micro urban spaces in winter city and all kinds of activity intensity,targeted optimization strategies are proposed in order to promote business,leisure and social activities from seven dimensions include regional measure,function forms,space scale,interface morphology,street greening,street furniture,maintenance level.In order to promote commercial stay activities,the micro-space design strategies for enhancing the sharing atmosphere are summarized,including five strategies: time sequence construction with micro-climate priority,inclusive facilitation of informal economy,micro and approachable interface supplement,infiltration and symbiosis of greening structure,and field sharing of coordinating space and time.The micro-space design strategies for promoting leisure activities are summarized to create compatibility,including four strategies: compact mixing of functional formats,seasonal control of material and color,all-weather utilization of landscape facilities,and complex facilities with intensive land use.The micro-space design strategies for promoting social stay activities are summarized as follows: sorting out flexible network,including five strategies: accessibility intervention of walking horizon,texture integration of space expansion,inviting shaping of street boundary,multi-dimensional inheritance of local context,and systematic linkage of functional modules.
