Quantitative Research On The Design Influencing Factors Of The Recreational Activity Environment Of Comprehensive Parks In The Old City Of Guangzhou

In the epidemic era,the trend of short-distance recreational activities is becoming more and more frequent.As an old city with high residential density,its comprehensive parks are indispensable recreational resources.However,the physical aging and functional decline of the built environment of the old city parks are becoming more and more serious.It is of great significance to scientifically and deeply understand and improve the comprehensive park environment of the old city,and to quantitatively analyze the coupling between recreational activities and recreational environmental elements from the perspective of landscape design.Yuexiu District,Liwan District and Haizhu District are the old urban areas with high population density in Guangzhou.The comprehensive parks built in the early stage have become the key objects for the optimization of stock planning.Therefore,this paper selects typical representative and common comprehensive parks in the three districts as the research objects,namely Yuexiu Park in Yuexiu District,Liwan Lake Park in Liwan District and Xiaogang Park in Haizhu District.The research object focuses on the impact of park environmental design factors on tourists.The main work contents are as follows:The non-participatory observation of recreational activities in the three parks was carried out,and the overall characteristics of recreational activities,the temporal characteristics of recreational activity types and the characteristics of space usage were analyzed.The purpose of research on recreational activity behavior is to understand the characteristics of tourists’ activity behavior and to speculate on the causes behind the behavior phenomenon,which is helpful to explore the factors for follow-up research.The psychological and behavioral needs of tourists in comprehensive park activities are analyzed;from the perspective of landscape design,the characteristics and connotations of comprehensive park environmental design that affect tourists’ psychological and behavioral needs are analyzed.With the goal of rationally organizing the elements of environmental design and creating a good recreational activity environment,the design influencing factor system of the comprehensive park recreational activity environment is sorted out.Combined with the actual situation of the park,the independent variable element indicators(4 categories and 8 element indicators)for follow-up research are selected in the system,namely spatial element indicators(greening landscape permeability and percentage of movable space),natural element indicators(number of plant species and Green coverage rate),quality factor indicators(node quality index and sanitation environment index),facility factor indicators(seat density and design sense index of supporting facilities).The dependent variable uses the number of tourists as a quantitative indicator to directly reflect the utilization of recreational space).Through investigation and statistics,a multiple linear regression model of three park dependent variables(instantaneous activity visitor frequency)and independent variable factor indicators was established,and finally it was concluded that the Yuexiu Park node quality index,the percentage of movable space and the daily average instantaneous activity visitor frequency were significantly linear.There is a significant linear correlation between the seat density and the percentage of movable space in Liwan Lake Park and the daily average instantaneous activity visitor frequency;the number of plant species and seat density in Xiaogang Park has a significant linear correlation with the daily average instantaneous activity visitor frequency.Based on the results of regression analysis and behavioral research,the corresponding optimization strategies are proposed: first,optimize seating facilities;second,improve the plant environment;third,improve the utilization rate of activity space;fourth,improve the quality of recreational built environment.This paper quantifies and demonstrates the environmental factors from the micro level,and has a deeper understanding of the design factors of the comprehensive parks in the old city that affect the environment of recreational activities..
