Research On Urban Street Space Evaluation And Optimization Strategy In Qujiang New District Of Xi’an From The Perspective Of Child-friendly

The COVID-19 outbreak once again highlighted the close link between children’s vulnerability and the urban environment,and the need to further improve the quality and revitalize the street space as a public space frequently used for children’s activities.Therefore,how to give full play to the dual spatial attributes of "traffic passage-public life" of urban street space,and raise the abstract theory of "child friendly perspective" to the assessable and operable level,so as to build an urban street environment suitable for the growth of children is an urgent requirement and challenge.This study takes the urban streets of Qujiang New District in Xi ’an as the empirical research object,and children aged 7-14 as the research subject,aiming to effectively improve the friendliness of children,establish a street space that can solve the domestication,structionalization and isolation problems faced by modern children,and meet the psychological and behavioral characteristics of children.Based on children’s psychological behavior characteristics and the interaction relationship between street space characteristic,the localization of mining child friendly perspective,and tried to get children friendly abstract theoretical science are translated into urban street space elements,friendly space as the basis,to take the children walking distance within a radius of 400 m for a review analysis of city street space,Based on this,this paper puts forward the urban street space optimization strategies including planning layout,landscape design,management and operation.Based on the above research analysis framework and research steps,the main conclusions and innovations of this paper are as follows: 1)To redefine the concept of"child-friendly perspective" and "child-friendly street space" and to analyze the mechanism of the interaction among "child psychology,child behavior and street environment" based on this;2)build a child friendly view under multi-level urban street space assessment framework,and the body under the perspective of children for the safety of city streets,comfort,convenience and interesting space requirements,translated into 21 items cover the street space of each dimension index listing,creating urban street space child friendly assessment tools;3)based on the evaluation results by summing up the five aspects of child friendly situation,puts forward to the status quo and the future value of a double under the guide of "series,game,growth,participation of 4 d 12 optimization strategy framework,as a child friendly related theory deepening,also provide reference for xi ’an qujiang newly developed area to carry out the relevant practice.
