Research On The Application Of Nanjing Brocade Pattern In The Design Of Wedding Cultural And Creative Products

Nanjing Brocade is a kind of silk fabric made by special technology,which is the brilliant crystallization of China’s 7000 years of silk culture.As the only living fossil among the four famous brocades in China,Nanjing Brocade is not only the fruit of the wisdom of Chinese craftsmen,but also the essence of traditional Chinese national culture.Nanjing Brocade is the last milestone of traditional silk weaving in China,and it is also known as "the best in China" in the history of ancient Chinese brocade weaving.However,the survival space of Nanjing Brocade in the modern market is shrinking.With the enrichment of people’s material life,the intangible cultural heritage such as Nanjing Brocade is gradually being squeezed out of people’s view,and the development of intangible cultural heritage in contemporary times urgently needs a way to coincide with the design concept of cultural and creative products.By combining Nanjing Brocade with creative products,Nanjing Brocade can be integrated into the daily life of modern people in a diversified way,which will have an important impact on the inheritance and development of Nanjing Brocade.How to combine Nanjing Brocade with cultural and creative products has become an urgent problem.In this paper,we select the design of Nanjing Brocade patterns as the main object of research,and carefully understand the development process,process characteristics and cultural connotation of the patterns.Then,by classifying the contemporary wedding cultural and creative products,we analyze the personalization and universality,practicality and ornamental value,and the communication of wedding culture from the perspective of design.Starting from the artistic expression of Nanjing Brocade patterns,we systematically summarize and sort out the motifs related to wedding culture in Nanjing Brocade patterns,and analyze the cultural connotation of wedding concept in Nanjing Brocade culture.At the same time,we combine modern design methods and technological software to explore the pattern composition,color scheme and process characteristics of Nanjing Brocade patterns,and summarize the application rules of Nanjing Brocade patterns in modern wedding cultural and creative products,so as to find a new development path for Nanjing Brocade in contemporary cultural and creative product design.This paper explores and tries to explore the application of Nanjing Brocade patterns in wedding products from three aspects: wedding gift packaging design,wedding jewelry design,and new house furnishing design.The wedding gift design and wedding jewelry design are designed as a series of sets,in order to gradually improve the application rules of Nanjing Brocade in wedding design.By selecting different themes of wedding symbolism,we try to use different application methods and meticulous schematic derivation to reconstruct and apply Nanjing Brocade patterns in the wedding cultural and creative products.On the one hand,it adds the beauty of traditional rituals to contemporary wedding creative products and enriches their missing cultural core,while adding more diversified visual effects and providing a reference basis for their formal innovation.On the other hand,through the creative products to promote the culture of Nanjing Brocade,broaden the living space of Nanjing Brocade in the modern market,and promote the return of Nanjing Brocade culture to the life of the modern public more quickly.
