The Application Of Sichuan Brocade Pattern In The Design Of Cultural And Creative Products

With the continuous development of society,nowadays,people’s vision is filled with multi-culture,and most historical cultures with regional characteristics of the Chinese nation are gradually forgotten,Sichuan brocade is one of them.Sichuan brocade originated from the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period,which has a history of more than 2,000 years.The weaving technique of Sichuan brocade is one of the first batch national treasures included in the national intangible Cultural Heritage list,and its historical,cultural and artistic values are worth exploring and promoting.With the decrease of traditional manufacturers and inheritors,the culture of Sichuan brocade is facing an unprecedented crisis.How to combine the culture of Sichuan brocade with modern commodities,make it spread and carry forward,so as to bring new life,has become a major problem to be solved at present.This paper takes some of the Sichuan brocade in Chengdu Sichuan Brocade Museum as the research object,takes cultural and creative products as the carrier,and explores the direction of the promotion and inheritance of Sichuan brocade culture from the perspective of non-inheritance.First of all,through the integration of related literature,the development history of Sichuan brocade culture is summarized,focusing on the analysis of the pattern composition and color collocation of Sichuan brocade patterns in different historical periods.Then it discusses the development of cultural and creative products from three aspects: concept,function and value,and makes clear the feasibility and applicability of cultural and creative products as communication carriers of Sichuan Brocade culture.Then combined with the development of Sichuan Brocade cultural and creative products,the design positioning of the product was defined.At the same time,I made a field trip to Chengdu Sichuan Brocade Museum,extracted and transformed some existing patterns of Sichuan brocade with modern technology,integrated regional elements,and innovated the patterns of Sichuan brocade.Based on this,I determined the design scheme for the production of subsequent cultural creative products.Finally,through the method of design practice,the cultural and creative products of Chengdu Sichuan Brocade Museum are produced to complete the chain closure of theory and practice,and explore an effective path for traditional Sichuan brocade culture to re-enter the historical stage while ensuring the scientific and integrity of the research.
