| "Mechanical Fundamentals" as a required professional basic course in secondary vocational schools for engineering equipment installation and maintenance major,CNC technology application major and mold manufacturing technology major covering professional theoretical knowledge and professional practice technology is the foundation of in-depth study of mechanical majors.However,due to the adoption of traditional teaching methods in most schools,a lot of classroom issues need to be solved urgently.In order to make up for the defects of traditional teaching methods,enhance the teaching quality of secondary vocational schools,promote the joint growth of teachers and students,this paper focuses on learners and investigates how to reorganize "Mechanical Fundamentals" course into project-based activities with typical working processes.A diversified evaluation system is designed and specific teaching activities are carried out in this paper,which consists of the following parts:The first part is the introduction,which analyzes the current teaching situation of "Mechanical Fundamentals" course from aspects of the research background,significance,content and methods,domestic and foreign research review.Then,the author studies and sorts out literatures with the themes of "Project-based Course Development" and "Project-based Teaching",finds out relevant rules,discovers the theoretical foundation and useful practice reference for project-based design in "Mechanical Fundamentals" course,and then determines research content and research methods.In the second part,the concepts and theoretical foundations of this study are determined.Then,the author analyzes how these theories can help to apply project-based course content and corresponding project-based activities to "Mechanical Fundamentals" course and improve the current teaching status in the secondary vocational schools.The third part is mainly focused on investigating and analyzing the current teaching status of the "Mechanical Fundamentals" course in Mechanical Major in Beibu Gulf Vocational-Technical School,aiming at obtaining corresponding teaching improvement measures by analyzing the reasons for the current teaching situation and the possibility of using project-based teaching methods among in mechanical engineering major students in secondary vocational schools.In the fourth part,the author analyzes the teaching objectives,teaching content,learners,and learning environment according to the characteristics of the secondary vocational course "Mechanical Fundamentals".Then,through reconstruction and integration of teaching content,this paper designs practical and operable project and related teaching resources.Through the introduction of information technology aided teaching when organizing students to conduct project activities,a feasibility analysis is performed to design a project teaching process based on information technology according to specific principles.Finally,a set of practical and feasible teaching evaluation index system integrating process evaluation and summative assessment is established.In the fifth part,to verify the effectiveness of the model,it is applied to the "Mechanical Fundamentals" course of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Installation and Maintenance Major of Beibu Gulf Vocational-Technical School.Then,the specific teaching projects are designed while conducting teaching implementation and demonstration.The sixth part is the conclusion part.It is found through teaching implementation,research and analysis,this teaching mode is suitable for "Mechanical Fundamentals" course teaching in secondary vocational schools.It can effectively enhance students’ learning effect,solve problems existing in traditional classrooms,and strengthen students’ independent learning capability,hands-on practical autonomous learning ability,solidarity and collaborative skills,problem-analyzing and problem-solving capabilities. |
