| The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward "fostering virtue through education" as the fundamental task of education."Incorporating ideological and political education into the curriculum" is an important measure to implement the task of fostering virtue through education.It is a necessary requirement to make all types of courses and ideological and political theory courses move in the same direction and form a synergistic effect.After years of exploration and practice in universities,the theoretical depth of incorporating ideological and political education into the curriculum has been continuously deepened,and certain achievements have been made.However,there has been relatively little research on the middle vocational stage,and it is still in its infancy.Students at the middle vocational stage are in a critical period of ideological and political education and must strengthen their ideological and political education.Based on the concept of "incorporating ideological and political education into the curriculum",this study integrated ideological and political education into professional courses,which is conducive to promoting the comprehensive development of middle vocational students and cultivating high-quality skilled personnel that meet national development needs.This study adopted literature analysis,interview,teaching experiment,and questionnaire survey methods.Firstly,through a large amount of literature reading and field investigation,the teaching focus and student characteristics of the current middle vocational mechanical major were understood.Through questionnaire and interview methods,the current teaching status of professional courses and the implementation of ideological and political education in middle vocational schools were investigated,the existing problems were analyzed,and the necessity and feasibility of carrying out "incorporating ideological and political education into the curriculum" in middle vocational professional courses were clarified.Then,through the analysis of the theory of incorporating ideological and political education into the curriculum,constructivism learning theory,and implicit curriculum theory,relevant theoretical basis was provided for the teaching design of incorporating ideological and political elements into the "Mechanical Fundamentals" course.Subsequently,the teaching design and implementation of incorporating ideological and political elements into the "Mechanical Fundamentals" course were carried out.Finally,using teaching experiment method,the teaching design of incorporating ideological and political elements was implemented in the experimental class,while the conventional teaching design was used in the control class.Before and after the experiment,the ideological and political scale was used to determine the students’ ideological and political development situation,and the data of the control class and experimental class were compared to draw conclusions.Based on the full analysis of the "Mechanical Fundamentals" textbook and the learning situation of middle vocational students,this study determined the ideological and political goals in accordance with the "Middle Vocational Ideological and Political Curriculum Standard" : political identity,public participation,legal consciousness,sound personality,and occupational spirit.Teaching design and implementation were carried out based on knowledge goals,ability goals,and ideological and political goals.The effectiveness of this teaching design and implementation was verified through the analysis of teaching experimental data.The results showed that this teaching design and implementation can enable students to master professional knowledge and skills while improving their ideological and political literacy.Additionally,their academic performance was also correspondingly improved,which helped students achieve moral,intellectual,and physical development. |
