The "Mechanical Fundamentals" course in secondary vocational schools is an important professional basic course for mechatronics majors.The teaching method of the course will directly affect the teaching quality,and then affect the achievement of the goal of professional personnel training.It is difficult for students to establish a connection with abstract principles and formulas through mechanical analysis of mechanical mechanisms on the basis of comprehensive use of mechanical image recognition,and it does not meet the requirements of vocational education vocational ability training.This paper mainly studies the strategies and methods of integrating digital modeling and simulation technology into course teaching,innovating course teaching methods,cultivating students’ autonomous learning ability,adapting to the learning characteristics of secondary vocational students,and improving the teaching effect of the course.At the same time,it is also expected to provide reference for the teaching reform of other professional courses in secondary vocational schools.This paper takes the "Mechanical Fundamentals" course of mechatronics technology major in a secondary vocational school in Guizhou as the research object,and uses qualitative interviews and quantitative research methods to study the problems existing in the teaching of this course.Statistical analysis and survey data show that the traditional teaching method and demonstration method are generally adopted by the teachers of the "Mechanical Fundamentals" course teaching in the research school;The main problems in the teaching of this course are that the practical teaching cannot be organically unified;the purpose of teachers’ teaching is unclear,which leads to poor students’ learning behavior;and the diversified learning resources are relatively single.Based on the existing main problems,on the basis of researching relevant teaching theories,the application of digital modeling and simulation technology to create a learning situation of mechanical parts structure diagram and stress-strain analysis in the course is proposed.The teaching process follows the "scientific and intuitive" Flexibility" teaching design principles,designed a digital modeling and simulation and curriculum teaching integration,visual design scheme.Students with similar numbers,the same majors,and roughly the same knowledge base were selected,and experimental classes and control classes were set up respectively,and digital modeling and simulation technology were used to implement the teaching experiment research based on the integration of teaching and visual design of this course.The research results show that based on the integration of digital modeling and simulation technology with classroom teaching,and the visual design scheme,the students in the experimental class have significantly changed their learning attitudes towards the course,their grades have improved significantly,their autonomous learning ability,and their ability to analyze and solve practical problems have been significantly enhanced.Some students initially have the ability to use 3D modeling and simulation to operate and analyze.
