Study On Spatial Morphological Characteristics And Protection Of Traditional Villages In Jianou City

Most of the traditional villages in Jianou City,Fujian Province,have a good living space environment,which mostly reflects the ancient people’s environmental concept of "harmony between man and nature" in the construction of villages.The time continuity of the historical context of traditional villages will inevitably be reflected and continued in the material space level.However,there is little research on the spatial morphological characteristics of the traditional villages in northern Fujian.In today’s industrialized society,the development of traditional villages has basically stagnated and been destroyed,which is caused by various reasons.Through visiting and investigating the historical and traditional villages in Jianou area of northern Fujian,we can find that most villages have suffered more or less damage to their morphological elements and functional space.Fortunately,however,there are still many typical traditional villages in Jian’ou area,which still preserve sound village texture and historical form.Under such circumstances,it is particularly important to analyze and study the spatial morphological characteristics of typical traditional villages in Jianou and to protect and inherit the overall spatial pattern of traditional villages in Jianou area.Taking the traditional villages of Jianou City in northern Fujian as the research object,especially the four national traditional villages which are well preserved as the key object,this paper analyses the morphological and structural characteristics of the traditional villages in Jianou from the macro-to-meso-and architectural microperspective.Chapter one summarizes the background and origin of the current situation of traditional villages in Jianou,puts forward the purpose and significance of the research,and analyses the relevant research practice at home and abroad.Chapter 2 combs the theoretical methods of traditional village spatial morphology research and protection,and draws inspiration for the methods of Jianou village spatial morphology research.The third chapter describes the research and characteristics of the traditional village spatial form in Jianou area,including the geographical and human situation of the traditional village in Jianou,the content of the village spatial elements,and the summary of the village style and form.The fourth chapter combines with the research object of key villages,uses the methods of typology and graphics to analyze the characteristics of traditional villages in the external environment of villages,the rules of location space,the internal spatial pattern of villages,the plane layout form,the street organization,the architectural form and so on,and to analyze the prototype features of traditional villages.The fifth chapter discusses the strategies and methods of inheritance based on the authenticity of village spatial form,and finally makes a research summary.Based on the analysis of the spatial morphological characteristics of traditional villages in Jian’ou City,the unique regional charm and spatial characteristics of traditional villages in northern Fujian are excavated,and it is hoped that this study will be helpful for the protection of the spatial characteristics and historical authenticity of traditional villages in Jian’ou City.
