China’s economy has moved from a high-speed development path to a high-quality development stage.Facing the ecological environment and resource constraints,green technological innovation driving green development is an important guarantee for achieving high-quality economic development.Exploring the way to improve the efficiency of green innovation of construction enterprises is conducive to the sustainable growth of the construction industry,the pillar industry of the national economy.To this end,this article builds on the basis of existing research to build a green innovation efficiency evaluation system for construction companies,explores the time and space dynamic evolution and influencing factors of construction companies ’ green innovation efficiency,with a view to providing government,market,and enterprise levels for improving the efficiency of green innovation.Policy recommendations.This study uses the DDF-GML production index to measure the green innovation efficiency of construction companies,and explores the dynamic evolution of green innovation efficiency based on non-parametric kernel density estimation,and measures the spatial center of green innovation efficiency through the standard deviation ellipse.Finally,it is based on a questionnaire survey of construction companies.Data,to identify and empirically test the internal and external driving factors of green innovation efficiency of construction companies.The main conclusions drawn from the above research are as follows:(1)The green innovation efficiency of my country’s construction companies has been continuously improving,but the production frontier and technology conversion rate have not developed simultaneously,and the production technology conversion rate of construction companies is still at a relatively low level;(2)With the passage of time,the gap between the green innovation efficiency of different construction companies has continued to expand,showing a trend of polarization;(3)The center of gravity of green innovation efficiency of construction companies has shifted to the southeast coast and has been located in the Yangtze River Delta.(4)Enterprise scale does not affect the green innovation efficiency of construction companies,but environmental strategy,green business strategy,regulatory pressure,CEO humility,and inter-organizational cooperation all have a significant positive impact on the green innovation efficiency of construction companies;(5)Through theoretical and empirical analysis,the analysis and conclusion of the display status of the green innovation efficiency of construction enterprises,the law of temporal and spatial evolution and its influencing factors,have put forward policy recommendations to improve the efficiency of green innovation.
