Along with the rapid growth of science and technology,the popularity of the ‘Internet plus economy' ameliorates the innovations of the Internet to integrate into various fields of economy and society.The ‘Internet plus steel' strategy lays a foundation for the traditional steel production and marketing style to upgrade and a lively e-commerce trading format has emerged.With the rapid development of e-commerce industry,the transaction volume of enterprise platform is growing rapidly,and the platform users are also increasing geometrically.K Company(the object of this thesis)has deeply engaged in steel e-commerce industry for decades,which has been the leading figure in this industry.Iron e-commerce enterprises are now facing the problem not only of how to classify,select evaluate the performance and enhance the relationship maintenance of tens of thousands of suppliers of varying quality on the trading platform through scientific and effective management methods but also enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises,which can effectively reduce the operation risk of platform enterprises.This thesis takes K steel e-commerce trading platform company as the research object,built on the theoretical research of supplier relationship management,combined with relevant knowledge,as an illustration,operation management,supply chain management and human resource management.In addition,this thesis expounds the current situation and main problems of supplier relationship management from four aspects: supplier classification,selection,performance evaluation and relationship management,which are highlighted in four aspects: single supplier classification standard,formalization of selection and entry process,imperfect performance evaluation mechanism and insufficient awareness of relationship management.Through investigation and questionnaire survey,it is analyzed that the reasons for the supplier relationship management problems of K company mainly include five aspects:the solidification of supplier classification standards in the steel trade industry,the reliance on manual judgment for supplier qualification audit,the less attention to the research and development of supplier performance evaluation system,the high mobility of procurement personnel and the weak awareness of supplier relationship management.Accordingly,the optimization scheme and implementation guarantee of supplier relationship management is put forward.That is,it is optimized from five aspects: formulating and clarifying supplier selection standards,improving supplier selection process and optimizing employee performance appraisal system,enhance supplier ‘Q.C.D.S' performance evaluation system,strengthening supplier performance appraisal awareness,and providing implementation guarantee by improving risk management concept,adjusting organizational structure and increasing employee team construction.The research of this paper will help K company improve its relationship with suppliers,establish a more perfect and scientific supplier relationship management system,and provide reference optimization suggestions for other enterprises facing the same or similar supplier relationship management problems in the iron and steel e-commerce industry.
