Study On The Flora And Plant Resource Classification Of Woody Plants In Mingshan District

This thesis takes Daming District as the research area.Through field investigation,it makes a detailed analysis of the types,uses and flora of woody plants.This paper mainly studies the floristic composition,geographical components of families and genera,dominant families and dominant genera,characteristic families and characteristic genera,and the main uses of the resource woody plants in the Mingshan district.In order to provide scientific theoretical guidance for the protection of woody plant biodiversity,rational utilization and development of woody plant resources in Mingshan district.The research results are as follows:(1)According to the investigation,there are 588 species,278 genera and 97 families of woody plants in Mingshan district.Among them,there are 1 family,1 genus and 1 species of ferns,9 families,13 genera and 18 species of gymnosperms,87 families,263 genera and 569 species of angiosperms.Among them,there are 271 species of shrubs,243 species of trees,54 species of vines and 20 species of bamboos.(2)The floristic elements of Mingshan district are many components.The flora shows subtropics characteristics and significant transition to temperate.A total of 49 families of woody plants are tropical elements,accounting for 50.52%of the total number of families in Mingshan District;28 families of temperate elements,accounting for 28.87%of the total number of families in Mingshan District.134 genera are tropical elements,accounting for 48.20%of the total genera in Mingshan District;121 genera are temperate elements,accounting for 43.53%of the total genera in Mingshan District.(3)The woody plant flora in Mingshan district is characterized by obvious dominance pheneomen.The dominant families,which account for 23.71%of the total families,contain more than 50%genera and species of the flora;the characteristic families reflect a subtropical characteristics,while the characteristic genera reflect a Temperate characteristics.(4)The protected plants and endemic plant resources are abundant.There are 16 species of 14 genera and 10 families of first-and second-level national protected plants(woody)in Mingshan District.Among them,there are 6 species of national first-grade protected plants,10 species of second-class protected species;233 species of endemic plants in China,and 14 species of endemic plants in Sichuan.(5)According to the purpose,woody plants in Mingshan district are divided into five categories:ornamental,edible,medicinal,industrial,ecological restoration and environmental protection.Among them,there are 310 ornamental plants,135 edible woody plants,209 medicinal plants,173 industrial plants,and 214 ecological restoration and environmental protection plants.(6)In the future,we will strengthen the protection,development and utilization of wild trees.The protection and management of distribution areas of key protected plants should be strengthened,such as:Michelia wilsonii,Acer amplum subsp.catalpifolium,Emmenopterys henryi,etc.;The cultivation and protection of endemic plants should be strengthened,such as:Syzygium sichuanense,Manglietia insignis,Schima sinensis,etc.;Reasonable development and utilization of trees with high value,such as:Akebia trifoliata,Liquidambar formosana,Helwingia chinensis,etc.
