Studies On Flora Of Mt. Zijin Vascular Plants & Studies Of Wild Resource Plants

Based on the more 3000 samples collected in the several thorough investigations and surveys on its vegetations and vascular plants from January,2007 to April, 2009.This paper discusses and analyzes the floristic composition of vascular plants in Mt. Zijin ,floristic characteristics and the relations with its circumferential floras.The Area has 1342 species (including subspecies) of advanced Plants belonging to 596 genera in 166 families,among which there are 56 species of ferns belonging to 34 genera in 22 families,62 species of gymnospermae plants belonging to 24 genera in 9 families and 1224 species of angiospermae Plants belonging to 538 genera in 133 families. Dieotyledoneae plants have 1050 species in 427 genera of 111 families and monocotyledoneae plants cover 174 species in 111 genera of 22 families. There are 600 species of xylophyta,676 species of herb,and 66 species of climbing plant.There are 56 species of ferns belonging to 34 genera in 24 families and the majorities vary from the North Temperate and Pantropcial Distribution Types, which indicates the ferns in this area have transitional characteristics form tropic to subtropic and temperate. There are 142 families of seed plants, including 9 families of gymnospermae and 133 families of angiospermae.Composition of genera.There are 454 genera.The flore belongs to temperate and tropic type with occasional Mediterranean elements.The similar coefficients of Mt. Zijin and Mt.Qixia,Mt.Niushou,Mt.Huangshan are lager and they have more original relation.But there is less relation of Mt. Zijin and Hubei Shenlongjia, which are consistent with the geographical place of themselves, and which also demonstrates that the flora belongs to E.China and it has little relations with C.China.The paper concludes and divides the Plant Resource the ornamental Types,the Energy Plant Types,Food Types,Medicinal Types,the other utilizing Types and the rare and imminent dangerous Types. Mt.Zijin vegetation types belong to the zone on defoliation broadleaved forest with everygreen plants in north subtropic.Composed with coniferous forest,broadleaved forest,coniferous forest mixed and shrub and Bamboo grove mostly.
