Stutys On The Characteristic Of Key Protected Plants In Beijing

Rare and endangered wild plants are an important component of biological diversity. Based on the investigation of plants germplasm resources in Beijing from 2007-2009, areal-types, life form and distribution pattern and effect from urbanization are discussed. Furthermore, several protection suggestions are provided. The main finding of this study are as followings:1) 98 key conservative wild plants in list belong to 46 families and 86 genera. Besides, other three national ones are discussed in this article.2) The flora of families are diversified and Wide spread ones is large(43.9%)the same as North Temp. ones of the flora of genera(42.2%). The result is that the protected plants of Beijing is rich in temperate type.3) Woody plants is 24, Herb plants is 71 and vines plants is 6. This explains Herb plants has good adaptability in the area.4) The geographic distribution of the protected plants is uneven, and concentrates in the north and western regions.such as mentougou, miyun, yanqing, huairou and fangshan district.5) Using GrcGIS, the dispersal gradient figure of protected plants and wild plants in different districts and towns were got. The results showed that the diversity of protected plants are consistent with wild plants.6) The dispersal influcing factors were analysized and area, population, coverage of forest,economy are the main influing factors.SPSS showed that the number of protected plants were positive correlation with coverage of forest and oppositive with land of agriculture,the road density and the level of urbanization. This indicates that forest is good habitat for wild plants and fragmentation causing by urbanization can destroy habitat and dispersal pattern of protected plants.So far, researches of protected plants in the whole of Beijing is lack and factors affected on distribution and its effects are seldom-reported.This article focuses on the two aspects.
