China is a country with relatively scarce water resources.Per capita water resources are only a quarter of the world's per capita level,and the regional distribution is uneven,which has restricted the development of regional economy to a certain extent.Since the reform and opening up,China's industry has developed rapidly.However,due to the long-term extensive growth mode,China is facing problems such as large water consumption,severe water pollution,and low water resource eff-iciency.In order to improve the current problems facing China's industrial water resources,this paper considers environmental constraints in the framework of industrial water resources green efficiency analysis,reveals the regional differences and sources of industrial water resources green efficiency,and analyzes the spatial distribution of industrial water resources green eff-iciency Features and convergence mechanisms,thereby promoting the improvement of water resources efficiency,are also of great significance for promoting green transformation and narrowing the regional development gap.This paper first adopts the EBM super-efficiency model measurement method,taking into account the coexistence characteristics of radial and non-radial relaxation variables,and more accurately measures the green efficiency of China's provincial industrial water resources from 2006 to 2015.Green efficiency.Secondly,this paper divides China into three regions:east,central,and western according to economic zones.The Dagum Gini coefficient is used to investigate the regional differences and sources of the green efficiency of China's industrial water resources.Finally,this paper uses the Moran's I index to analyze the spatial correlation of the green efficiency of industrial water resources in China,and further establishes a spatial error model and a spatial lag model to study the convergence of green water efficiency of industrial water resources in China.According to the conclusions of the study,effective countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to improve the green efficiency of China's industrial water resources.Through empirical analysis,the main conclusions obtained in this paper are:1.The overall regional differences in the green efficiency of China's industrial water resources are on the rise.The source of the overall difference is mainly the regional differences in the green efficiency of industrial water resources.And regional differences are on the rise.2.The green efficiency of China's industrial water resources shows a clear positive correlation and agglomeration in space.The green efficiency of industrial water resources in each province will affect the green efficiency of industrial water resources in other neighboring provinces.3.There are some differences in the a convergence characteristics of the industrial water resources' green efficiency across the country and the three regions.There is a convergence in the green efficiency of industrial water resources in the east and central regions,and the rate of a convergence in the east is lower than that in the central region.The green efficiency of industrial water resources across the country and the west did not show ? convergence.4.The absolute ? convergence of industrial water resources'green efficiency across the country and the three major regions has significantly converged,and the rate of convergence in the western,eastern,and central regions has gradually decreased.After introducing per capita GDP,industrial structure,government attention,and foreign trade dependence control variables,there are also significant conditions for ?convergence in the country and the three regions.This shows that the growth rate of China's industrial water resources with low green efficiency is higher than that of industrial water resources with high green efficiency,and the green efficiency of industrial water resources in various regions will converge to their steady levels.The results of the convergence test of the four control variables are different across the country and the three regions,indicating that the driving factors and convergence of green efficiency of industrial water resources in different regions are different.Therefore,they should be treated differently when formulating policies and development plans.
