Manufacturing is a pillar industry that promotes the development of China’s national economy.In the context of the new era,China’s economic development model is at a stage of rapid growth and transformation to high-quality development.Promoting high-quality development of manufacturing is a key measure to achieve sustainable economic development,and is also the development strategy direction proposed by the Party Central Committee in response to the current economic development situation.Based on this,this article will take the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry as the research direction and the source of technological innovation as the entry point,and empirically explore the high-quality development level of China’s manufacturing industry and the impact path of different technical paths on the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.This provides certain theoretical support and path suggestions for achieving high-quality development of the manufacturing industry and the economy in the future.First of all,this article reviews and analyzes the research related to the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,and reviews and expounds the history and current status of the development of manufacturing industry.Then based on the high-quality development connotation theory and related concepts of the manufacturing industry,and in accordance with the construction principles of comprehensiveness,rationality,scientificity,and feasibility of the evaluation index system,a brand driven by innovation,factor benefits,structural optimization,speed benefits,quality brands,The comprehensive evaluation index system of high-quality development of manufacturing industry with green development as the index dimension,and the comprehensive evaluation entropy method and the Theil index measure are used to analyze the high-quality development level and regional difference structure of China ’ s manufacturing industry.Finally,based on the measurement results of the high-quality development level of the manufacturing industry,using theoretical assumptions as the research base,from the perspective of regional differences,empirical research on the impact of different technology paths on the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry in the context of regional differences from the perspective of regional measurement statistics.The research shows that:(1)From 2008 to 2017,the overall high-quality development level of China ’ s manufacturing industry has been increasing year by year,with an average annual growth rate of 8.22%.Innovation drives have the greatest impact on the high-quality developmentof manufacturing.(2)The Theil index and decomposition results show that intra-regional differences are the main reason for the formation of regional differences in high-quality development levels.(3)The spatial effect test results show that there is a spatial positive autocorrelation in the development of China’s manufacturing industry,and there is an obvious agglomeration phenomenon between regions.(4)The empirical results of spatial metrology show that the two theoretical hypothesis analysis of the impact mechanism is established,and there are certain differences in exploring the impact of technology paths on the high-quality development of manufacturing industries from different regional perspectives.This difference is consistent with China’s development level and regional characteristics.(5)Taking the provinces of the country as the research object,independent innovation of endogenous technology has a significant promotion effect on accelerating the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,while the domestic technology purchase of exogenous technology has a significant negative effect.The history and characteristics of innovation development suggest that this negative effect may be related to technology transfer.(6)Taking the three major regions as research objects,the three different technology paths have a significant promotion effect on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,which is different from the research results of various provinces.This difference is related to the characteristics of regional technological innovation and development relate.Finally,based on the above empirical research conclusions,in order to effectively promote China’s manufacturing industry to the stage of high-quality development,the following policy recommendations are proposed: first,increase investment in scientific and technological innovation,focus on independent innovation;second,optimize the industrial structure,will Emerging industries as strategic pillar industries,improve the manufacturing industry structure system and enhance the core competitiveness of manufacturing;third,strengthen innovation and open cooperation to form a benign circular linkage mechanism.
