| The core elements of sustainable development in our country are coordinated development of economic growth and ecological environment,and manufacturing has a significant contribution in economic growth.After the reform and opening up,my country seized the development opportunities and prompting manufacturing to develop rapidly,and made an important contribution to economic growth.However,with the high emissions of manufacturing,high pollution-based development,my country’s ecological environment has been destroyed and has a serious threat to human survival.Our early manufacturing industry has developed rapidly thanks to labor advantages and the region’s vast,and has rich resources.However,as the ecological environment deteriorates,the resources are excessive consumption and the disappearance of population dividends,making our manufacturing industry face new dilemmas.Therefore,promoting the high quality development of manufacturing is an inevitable choice for improving my country’s competitiveness in the new era.It is an effective way to promote green development of manufacturing,and technological innovation is also an effective way to solve production pollution.Clarify the relationship between environmental regulation,technological innovation,and high-quality development in manufacturing,which can significantly promote the promotion of high quality development levels in manufacturing.In order to clear environmental regulation,technology innovation and the three-quality development paths,this paper is based on my country’s provincial manufacturing industry as research objects.Firstly,through the review of the literature involved in the fields and induction,explore the impact mechanism between environmental regulation,technological innovation and high quality development of the manufacturing industry from theoretical perspective.Secondly,this paper selection 2005-2018 provincial panel data(except Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,Tibet),using the ratio of the total investment in industrial pollution and industrial added value as an index of the environmental regulation;to measure the technological innovation index,choose the number of patent applications for industrial enterprises above in size;and build a high quality development level system of manufacturing,and calculate this level by using improved entropy right;then,by establishing a fixed effect model,empirical inspection of environmental regulation and manufacturing high quality development,and establish a panel threshold model,testing the role of technological innovation in this impact;at the same time,it is also aimed at classifying the provinces,and the above relationship is detected in the region,and the difference between the region is detected.The following conclusions were drawn by research:(1)From the direct impact,environmental regulation and high quality development of manufacturing are "U";(2)From an indirect impact,technology innovation plays a significant intermediary role in environmental regulation.(3)In terms of region,in the ten regions with high quality development levels in manufacturing and ten regions in the development level,a significant "U" relationship between environmental regulation and high quality development of manufacturing;In ten areas where the development level is poor,environmental regulations on the impact of manufacturing high quality development is significant at a level of 10%,compared to nonlinear relationships in other regions;(4)For the impact of environmental regulation and high quality development of manufacturing,technological innovation plays an intermediary role,and its specific impact path presents a single threshold effect;in terms of region,in the ten regions with high quality development levels in manufacturing and ten regions in the development level,technological innovation is remarkably,and the specific effect paths have shown a single threshold effect in this influence,the development level is relatively backward,the intermediary effect of technological innovation is not significant. |
