Research On MRO Material Purchasing Management Of Company P(China Region)

MRO material purchasing management are always neglected due to the characteristics of complex categories,multi-suppliers and limited purchase quantity etc.Usually the business departments of companies' are directly responsible for the MRO purchasing activities which are apparently lack of centralized management.And the purchasing data are not able to be classified to statistic as well.MRO material purchasing management continues to be a big blank of procurement cost management and process control.However,more and more companies are paying close attention to the strategic significance of MRO material purchasing management with the popularity of lean management.Strategic research and exaltation on MRO material purchasing management is becoming an important subject gradually.This paper collects and analyses the problems of MRO material purchasing requirements of stakeholders'in company P and issues during the purchasing process by combing the literatures of MRO material procurement management.And furthermore,the optimization on the management system of MRO purchasing in company P are discussed and processed,setting targeted key performance indicators of procurement management after analysis of performance gaps.The discussion are mainly from several aspects like organizational restructuring,optimization of former process and application of information technology&tools.The optimized purchasing process have been brought up to the required standard and improved the performance in purchasing management of company P after a period of trail run.
