Research On The Development Model Of China's Overseas Economic And Trade Cooperation Zone From The Perspective Of Industry Chain

In the post-financial crisis era,China has fallen into the double dilemma of weak demand in the international market and a change in the macroeconomic situation,which has severely restricted the pace of China's vigorous development of an open economy.On the one hand,the increasing trade protectionism in the global market has led to a slowdown in the growth of traditional export trade.On the other hand,the international investment environment is complex and volatile,and it is difficult for China's SMEs to withstand multiple risks.As an innovative measure of the foreign investment mode of Chinese enterprises,the overseas economic and trade cooperation zone was born under the cross-influence of such multiple pressures.It has multiple advantages such as avoiding international trade friction,enhancing the ability of enterprises to resist risks,and promoting the common development of regional economy.As early as the 1990 s,some powerful large-scale enterprises in China carried out the bold practice of establishing a cluster-type development park.Although it was only a spontaneous and informal exploration of enterprises,these samples provide inspiration for the birth of China's overseas economic and trade cooperation zone.Nowadays,in the context of economic globalization,China's opening up to the outside world is moving towards deep development.As a major strategy under the new situation of China's opening up to the outside world,the “One Belt,One Road” has provided a more convenient path and a more direct opportunity for China's industry to “go global”.The overseas economic and trade cooperation zone is in line with the “One Belt,One Road” strategy,and better co-ordinates the “two markets” at home and abroad.Although the types of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones in China vary widely,the essence of development is to promote capacity cooperation with “Made in China”.International capacity cooperation is the key to promoting the implementation of the “One Belt,One Road” strategy,while the overseas economic and trade cooperation zone is a cluster platform to undertake international capacity cooperation.The construction and development of the cooperation zone is a major and complicated strategic proposition in the new era of opening up to the outside world.Although China has achieved good results in the current construction process,there are still many problems and challenges,especially the development model is unclear.The pre-construction plan of some cooperation zones is confusing,which leads to the unclear positioning of the overall industry,which makes it difficult for the enterprises in the region to become a system,resulting in vicious homogenization competition.The types,industrial orientation and construction background of the existing cooperation zones in China are different.How to unify the commonality and individuality of the cooperation zones,and to analyze the general development mode of the overseas economic and trade cooperation zones from the theoretical level is the focus of this thesis.This thesis first defines the concept of the overseas economic and trade cooperation zone,and sorts out the existing research results of the cooperation zone and the theoretical basis of this article;then it discusses the status quo,characteristics and motivation of the development of China's overseas economic and trade cooperation zones.It leads to the problem that this thesis hopes to solve-the development mode of the existing cooperation zone is unclear.Based on the theory of industrial organization,this thesis starts from the two commonalities of "industrial park" and "cluster" in overseas economic and trade cooperation zones,avoiding the simple and general problems of previous studies on patterns.Combine the four-dimensional model of the industrial chain with the development status of the cooperation zone,and construct the framework from the four dimensions of enterprise chain,supply chain,space chain and value chain.Finally,the introduction of an excellent representative of China's overseas economic and trade cooperation zone-the "Teda Overseas Model" led by the China-Ethiopia Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone,trying to explore the development mechanism and development performance of the "Teda overseas model" under the four-dimensional model of the industrial chain.And explore its significance to other overseas economic and trade cooperation zones.
