L Company's market share was top three,but one year after acquired M company,it fell out of top five.Under this circumstance,L Company changed its strategy to low cost,and expanded the areas of sales,hoped to regain the world s number three in three years.This article is aiming to change the organization structure of China software division of L Company to make it more suitable for the strategy of L Company.This article utilizes organization structure theories,including factors that affect the organizational structure,elements of organizational structure and major organizational structures.This article thoroughly analyzes the problem of L Company's organizational structure.This article finds that the develop procedure cannot be executed,the work specialization degree cannot meet the project requirements,it is hard to cooperate between departments,and there are lots of competitions and conflicts between departments.This article designs a new organization structure that meets L Company s strategy and goal,enhances the work specialization degree,makes the cooperation happen,and eliminates the competitions and conflicts between departments.This article utilizes Kotter's eight steps to organizational changes to design the process of the new organizational change,and provides countermeasures to conquer the resistance of change.The conclusion is that organizational structure must be able to achieve the strategy and goal of a company,whenever the strategy or goal changes,the organizational structure must change accordingly.
