The Study Of Organizational Construction's Optimization For The Engineering Company Of LISCO

"If the organizational structure does not adapt to the changes of environment, the enterprise will be eliminated"(Jack Welch). The linear functional structure, adopted by the Engineering Company of LISCO since 1967, does not adapt to the changes of surroundings. It has restricted the enterprise's development. So this study not only has the actual significance to the Engineering Company of LISCO , but also has the reference value for similar enterprises.Basing on consulting a lot of books on organizational construction and reform, the main patterns of organizational construction and reform have been summarized. After deep consideration of the history of the Engineering Company of LISCO, the problems of the linear functional structure, never changed nearly 40 years, organized according authority, were enumerated, and presents the scheme to optimize the organization structure through the analysis on the working process. On the process of optimization, the reason of organizational construction's optimization for the Engineering Company of LISCO is given firstly on the basis of analyzing the factors that influent the reform. Next, three forms of organization are selected from among the common patterns of project organization, and considering the current situation and problem of organizational construction of the Engineering Company of LISCO, adopting the methods of colligating evaluation and comparing study, finally the matrix structure used for Project Management is taken as the best optimization scheme. After that, according to the characteristic of matrix structure, the functional departments are reseted, and the final organizational construction of the Engineering Company of LISCO is formed. Finally, the thesis presents the evaluation of optimized organizational construction, and gives the corresponding guarantee measure.Through the process of designing the organizational construction, this paper introduces a effective method for optimizing organizational structure, and it must be useful for the action of organization reform.
