In the process of development,the company will inevitably face the problem of organizational structure design and optimization.A scientific and rational organizational structure is the key to improve the management efficiency of the company.In 1995,S Company was established.This is a private enterprise mainly engaged in environmental water project construction and project operation.After years of hard work,the niche market of thermal power plant unit has been unable to meet the development needs of this company.In addition,with the emergence of the same types of domestic companies,the company has to adjust to the market diversification and product differentiation development strategy,then it is obviously difficult for the current organizational structure to adapt to the implementation of the development strategy.At the beginning of this paper,we thoroughly interpreted and analyzed the organizational structure from the theoretical level.Then I selected S company as a concrete example.According to the contingency theory of organizational design,I have analyzed the five influencing factors : industrial environment,life cycle,development strategy,technological factors and enterprise scale.Based on the analysis questionnaire survey,interviews etc.,it is summarized that there are shortcomings in the organizational structure and strategic development,the synergy effect is less marked,the function andpower are not equal,the staffing is not reasonable,and the management system is not systematic.Thus the innovation of company's organizational structure is imminent.Based on the analysis of relevant theories,I analyze the current situation of the company based on the shortcomings of the current organizational structure,designs a new organizational structure,and then strengthens the corporate culture,improves the management of human resources,and exerts the role of strategic bench marking,strengthen internal control and other methods to ensure the smooth operation of the organization structure.In fact,the organizational structure should be continuously adjusted and improved with reference to the company's development plan.There is only an appropriate structure instead of a perfect one.This article uses reference materials,case studies,field research and other means to explore to make a contribution to the development of domestic private enterprises and other environmental and water service companies.
