| Due to the constant threat to public safety by international terrorist organizations in recent years,there is an increasing demand for public security at home and abroad.X-ray security inspection machines are widely used as the most common security inspection equipment in various important public places.The traditional security inspection machine is mainly composed of photoelectric sensor,radiation source,detector,control board,acquisition board and upper computer.The hardware structure is complex and the cost is high.The security system is designed to meet increasing complexity and performance requirements of security inspections while reducing power consumption and cost.This paper uses Altera’s Cyclone V SE series SoC FPGA chip for logic control,image processing and data transfer operations.The integration of the functions of the acquisition board and the control board in the traditional security inspection machine into the SoC FPGA chip reduces the hardware cost of the system and reduces the system power consumption.In the aspect of security image processing,two schemes are proposed to mark the area with the smallest gray value in the security image,so as to mark the area where dangerous goods may exist,and assist the operator to identify the security image,making the security inspection more intelligent,efficient and convenient.In order to realize more and better integration of image processing algorithms,the hardware transplantation and development of the image processing algorithm in the security inspection machine is realized on the FPGA side of the SoC FPGA chip,and the parallel processing capability of the FPGA is fully utilized. |
