Science and technology changes with each passing day,X-ray imaging technology has not only been widely used in the field of medical and industrial applications , but also more and more used in the field of safety detection area.This paper studies a kind of safety detection X-machine based on the technology, which is applicable to the safety detection of post offices, railway stations, Olympic security, large activity venues and so on, and shows a good development prospects.This paper combines with the development status and trends of X-ray machine, analyzes and studies a kind of X-ray image processing system. First of all , in-depth studies this type of X-ray machine imaging system, in particular gives a detailed analysis on detection of dangerous goods, proposes the X-ray machine still has defects on image processing, denoising, and identification; For the problem of this X-ray machine, it introduces a more suitable image processing algorithm to enhance them, denoising, sharpening, segmentation and other processing to obtain the ideal image;Using MATLAB powerful image processing tool kit explores the image histogram equalization, contrast enhancement, image smoothing, image enhancement, image segmentation of the X-ray image processing and other issues , proposes the corresponding solutions and makes simulations; Finally, makes hardware configuration in order to achieve the above image processing functions, flexible use of the DSP and FPGA, uses a variety of image processing algorithms in hardware circuitry system. It also uses the XILINX developing tool which is based on Matlab's System Generator for DSP, as the interface development platform for FPGA devices and MATLAB simulation, allows users to intuitively easy to use, achieves perfect combination of graphics and interface.
