Research On China's Book Copyright Trade And Its Influencing Factors

In recent years,China’s cultural industry has made rapid development,and the publishing industry is an important part of the cultural industry.The book copyright trade is the most important form of China’s copyright trade.It is of great significance to study the Chinese book copyright trade in this context.Judging from the overall status of book copyright trade,the main problems currently existing in China’s book copyright trade are the trade deficit and regional development imbalance.Specifically,although the deficit in China’s book copyright trade is decreasing,it is still in a deficit state;From the perspective of trade,the export and introduction of Chinese book copyright trade are mainly concentrated in the United States,Britain,Germany,France,Russia,Canada.Japan,South Korea,Singapore,Taiwan,and Hong Kong;From a regional comparison,the development of book copyright trade in various regions of China is uneven.The volume of book copyright trade in Beijing accounts for about half of the total trade volume in the country,while the remote areas in the west are almost Zero;From the perspective of book categories,the book trade of philosophy,social sciences and children’s books is in a surplus,and the trade of books in the comprehensive category and nature,science and technology is in a deficit;Further empirical research found that in terms of output,the main influencing factors of Chinese book copyright trade are GDP of exporting countries or regions,China’s per capita GDP,geographical distance and language;in terms of introduction,the main influencing factor of Chinese book copyright trade are GDP of importing country.Or regiona,geographic distance,and language.In view of the problems and influencing factors of Chinese book copyright trade,feasible policy recommendations include: establishing a complete talent training mechanism,establishing a sound copyright agency mechanism,strengthening brand image building,balancing the development of local economies,balancing development of local publishing companies,and balancing localities.Human resources and strengthening Chinese language promotion.
