Researching On Problems Of Book Copyright Trade Deficit Based On Theory Of International Trade

Copyright industry is an important industry in the national economy. As human society enters the era of knowledge economy, the status of the copyright industry has become increasingly prominent. The development trend of Book Copyright Trade as a form of the copyright industries’ colorful impacts greatly not only on the national economy of a country, but also on the level of international communication and cultural security of a country’s culture. The Book Copyright Trade of China get a lot of development,and has made considerable progress during the past ten years. However,compared with Western countries, the Book Copyright Trade has a large gap,and its deficit is still large. Finding measures to improve Book Copyright Trade deficit is an important theoretical and practical object. The measure which promotes the development of China’s publishing industry, and enhances the safety of our culture has an important significance for the "going" of Chinese culture.The author with the problem reviews a number of references. Our study found that the problem of Book Copyright Trade deficit is still not deep enough, and most of the articles are basically empirical generalizations and lack of theoretical foundation. This paper studies the problem of Book Copyright Trade deficit based on the international trade theory. The author suggests proposals of changing our Book Copyright Trade deficit on the basis to promote the development of Book Copyright Trade.Firstly, the article summarizes the development process of China’s Book Copyright Trade. This paper analyses the current situation of the total deficit of Book Copyright Trade, the origin of deficit, deficit situation of China’s provinces and so on as an objective basis for this study. Secondly, the paper describes the development process of international trade theory, analyzes the applicability of international trade theory in the Book Copyright Trade, and establishes a diamond model of Book Copyright Trade.According to this model, this paper analyses the causes of Book Copyright Trade deficit from three aspects of the micro and macro business environment, trade patterns, trade products of Book Copyright Trade. Again, it discusses the adverse effects of Book Copyright Trade deficit from the three aspects of the economic, cultural and political.Finally, the article proposes the suggestions of changing China’s Book Copyright Trade deficit from the three aspects of the government,the publishing companies, the copyright business and civil society organizations.
