Causes And Governance Of False News In Professional Media

Reality is the life of news.However,since the birth of news,false news which violates the reality and objectivity has always been accompanied.Despite the state's three decrees and five affirmations,various laws and regulations have been promulgated to strictly control false news,but the frequency and impact of false news has not been significantly controlled.Especially with the rapid development of the Internet,false news from the source of production,the channel of dissemination to the speed of dissemination,are showing a more and more serious situation.In addition to the flood of false news from the media,we should adhere to journalism professionalism and strictly prevent the professional media from producing false news from mixing with the source and channel of producing and spreading false news in the whole process of news production,which not only has a worse social impact,but also causes great harm to the credibility of professional media itself.Sincejournalism has become a profession,the journalism industry has gradually explored a relatively complete,professional and standardized operation process and standards,and is constantly enriching and adjusting these processes and standards with the changes of the environment.It is reasonable to say that the professional media should be far more qualified than the current self-Media in preventing the production and dissemination of false news.But why has false news been accompanied by professional media?In view of the phenomenon of the proliferation of false news,the academic circles at home and abroad have never stopped studying and discussing.There are many papers on the characteristics,causes,harms and governance of false news,but there are few discussions on the causes and governance of false news from the whole process of news production and every link.Therefore,this study chooses to discuss the causes and Countermeasures of false news from the perspective of professional media news production.In the past,academic research on false news was mostly based on qualitative analysis,and subjectivity was relatively strong.This study mainly uses the method of quantitative analysis,using the 2001-2018"False News Case of the Year" as the research object selected by Journalists magazine as the research object,using the content analysis method to screen 191 false records in the"Journalists" magazine in 18 years.The in-depth analysis of the news case explores which professional news media has problems,which leads to the generation of false news,and analyzes the causes and harms of false news in professional media in detail,so as to propose a targeted governance strategy.This article will be discussed in the following five parts:The first part introduces the characteristics and current status of professional media from the perspectives of professional media definition,survival mode and survival status.The second part adopts the content analysis method.After identifying the research problems and constructing the first and second categories,detailed statistic statistics and research results are analyzed for 191 false news case samples.In the third part,according to the research results of the second part of the content,from the six topics of professional media news production,the source,the interview,the writing,the editor and the check,analyze the reasons why the professional media produces false news.The fourth part,combined with the case analysis method,analyzes the harm of professional media from generating false news from the perspectives of news parties,audiences,professional media and social order.The fifth part combines the development status of the news industry and the causes of false news in professional media,and proposes professional media governance and prevention from four aspects:innovative operation mechanism,changing personnel management chaos,strengthen the supervision ability of industry organizations and management institutions,and using technical means.Countermeasure of false news.
