Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The Educational Function Of Private University Libraries

The university library is responsible for the dual tasks of teaching and research,and is one of the important bases for cultivating talents and conducting scientific research.The close connection between university libraries and education determines that the educational function is the primary key function of university libraries.The function of education is also a necessary condition to support education and teaching.Only by the function of education can the library run through the library.Important mission.Private universities as an important part of modern higher education in China,the status of higher education has steadily improved,especially in the scale of education,educational philosophy,scientific research level and other aspects of continuous innovation,teaching results are increasingly recognized by the whole society.With the increasing attention paid to information literacy education,more and more attention has been paid to the research on the educational function of university libraries.To adapt to the educational function of university libraries.,private university libraries as the direct educational position,have made a series of changes from the content of work to the mode of service,and have become increasingly standardized in library management and service,but still slightly inadequate in some respects.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the current situation and countermeasures educational function of private university libraries.Based on the research results from the educational function of university libraries library,takes Dalian X University library as a case,this paper analyzes the present situation of the educational function of private university libraries by means of questionnaire and interview,show shortcomings are revealed,and several countermeasures and suggestions are given about the educational function of private university libraries.There are five parts in this research.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research background and significance,summarizes the related achievements,and gives the research ideas,defines the educational function concept of the private college library,methods and contents of the paper.In the second part,taking the library of Dalian X College as the research object,through the form of questionnaire and interview,this paper expounds the present situation of the educational functions of private university libraries in four aspects: library ideological education,library teaching assistant teaching,scientific research assistant and information literacy education.In the third part,in view of the present situation of four educational functions of private university libraries,namely,library ideological education,library teaching-assisted teaching,scientific research assistance and information literacy education,the author analyzes the lack of scientific guidance to ideological education,the lack of specialty of teaching-assisted teaching,the low efficiency of library scientific research assistance,and the lack of information.Quality education training system is imperfect.The fourth part puts forward the problems existing in the educational functions of private university libraries,and puts forward the following suggestions: scientifically guiding readers to use the library,strengthening ideological and educational functions,building professional librarians,improving the teaching and auxiliary teaching functions,strengthening the construction of Library resources,giving full play to the auxiliary functions of scientific research and improving information literacy training culture system,interpretation of Library literacy education strategy and recommendations.
