Along with the changes in the purpose of higher education, improving the quality of higher education is the request of a country of higher education front. Progress of the times, innovation of scientific technological, and people’s full development also called for higher education to have a great change of concept, content, methods, means and modes, therefore course reforms are the necessary means to improve the quality of higher education. In university campus, except the specific, prepared formal or dominant course, various types of hidden curriculum in comprehensive educational functions should not be overlooked. University library is an important part of the university. University library covers all subjects of knowledge and skills system, it contains both infrastructure and knowledge resources of high wisdom of human beings, both lead of library managers and a modern learning environment of real and virtual situations. It can develop the variety of characteristics of hidden curriculum. This paper, under the basis of analyzing a large number of documents, synthetical use of library science, management, education, psychology, and other subjects, from the perspective of hidden curriculum to examine the educational function of university library service.This article followed five sections for a discussion:The first part, situation and reflection of university library function to achieve, acting an important hidden curriculum resources within the university campus, university library education function impact about business fundamentals, management concepts and methods, quality of work, quality of service, and other aspects. The second part shows the expectations of the readers of university library under the hidden curriculum. The third part, psychological mechanisms of hidden curriculum function of university library. The fourth part hidden curriculum theory and Relevancy of university library function. And the fifth part, strategy of university library function to achieve under hidden curriculum’s visual, including the change of infrastructure, quality of people and service content and the manner.
