The Narrative Technique Of News Articles

We are in a time of "fragmentation",so the news feature,as a news genre requiring time consuming operating,is very precious.Despite many of the traditional medias choose giving up or restructuring the feature department,a group of men's magazines got their reputation in the feature field.As a leader in the field of domestic feature,?GQ?magazine produced a lot of features,which was widely spreading in internet.The general selection of news feature is of great value and long story.And the way of presenting the story varying in many styles,which is the best sample studying narrative science.Thus,this article focused on the news feature of?GQ?,analyzing and summarizing its narrative strategy.We collected 20 of the features from GQ report,ranging from 2016 to 2017 as research samples.Basing on the international and domestic narrative theories,we used text analysis,case study method and paper research and other research methods,analyzed their narrative skills and strategies from narrator,narrative perspective and narrative time three angles.And above all,we hope to summarize the way of narrative in?GQ?news feature.In terms of narrator,in order to keep the fluency and readability of the story,the role of "I" in the feature can be played by different people,which can make different effects.In the perspective of narration,the characters and stories are portrayed from different perspectives,and multiple perspectives are used to make the story more literature style based on objective reality.In narrative time,a flexible use of variety of temporal,focusing on repetitive narration in narrative frequency and various of narrative style of writers make the news feature of?GQ?win a good reputation in the field.
