As a form of phased array radar,the circular array radar has the characteristics of multi-directional,multi-functional,multi-tasking and huge data,which makes high requirements on the data transmission and storage of the radar sysem.The PCIe3.0 bus interface with its stable and efficient transmission performance effectively solves the circular array radar huge data throughput problems.Based on the circular array radar,this dissertation designs a large-capacity,high-speed data transmission and storage system.The main content of the dissertation is as follows.Firstly,the radar system requirements and functional parameters are analyzed to determine the system solutions,and the system's workflow is introduced.Secondly,a large-capacity data cache is designed with DDR3,which connected to the PCIe3.0 data interface.Thirdly,using the PCIe3.0 IP core provided by Xilinx,the DMA controller sends and receives transaction layer packets.Under the control of software,the data in the DDR3 cache is transferred to the host computer memory by means of SGDMA.After then,with 16 solid state disks,a Redundant Array of Independent Disks is set up by RAIDO to store the data from host computer memory.Finally,the system's self-test mode verifies the integrity and accuracy of the data transmitted which proves that the system has reliable transmission and storage performance.The large-capacity high-speed transmission and storage system in this dissertation can reach a data transmission speed of 4.75GB/s and the storage space of the RAIDO reaches 3.8TB,which meets the design target of the circular radar.The system also can be applied to various types of high-speed system for data transmission,which has high practicality.
