With the development of visual image technology, high speed and large capacity image data storage technology has been widely used in various fields of today’s society.Such as space and deep sea exploration, human beings need to store and replay the unknown world in the form of image. In recent years, along with the rapid development of semiconductor technology, flash array storage with NAND Flash as storage medium has become the most commonly used storage, especially in the field of underwater image acquisition and storage in the harsh environments.In this thesis, the underwater high-speed image data acquisition and storage as the research background, according to the structural characteristics and Multi-Plane operation feature of Micron NAND Flash memory chips, designing a flash array storage models combined with parallel bus technology and pipelining technology. Array is based on a single flash chip with the Multi-Plane operation then to external parallel design and internal pipeline design. In improving the image data storage speed and storage capacity at the same time, save the storage array area resources. Solving the problem of the contradiction between the capacity and speed of the memory array and the area of the storage array. In view of the high speed processing requirements of high speed image data,system uses the spartan-6 FPGA of Xilinx as the control core, receive 80 bit image data of FULL working mode of Camera-Link interface, which image pixel clock to 65 Mhz. And control the Flash array to reliably store the data. Combined with Xilinx’s parameterizable Tri-Mode Ethernet controller(TEMAC core) and the external physical layer chip interconnect technology, complete Gigabit Ethernet interface designed to achieve high-speed transfer of image data.This thesis describes the design of the system in detail from the scheme design,hardware platform design, software logic design and so on. Completed the high speed and large capacity memory design with capacity of 160 GB and speed of 800MB/s. Finally, the test platform is used to verify the function of the system’s Gigabit Ethernet receiving module and the system’s storage performance. The system can meet the reliable storage of65 MHz image data. The test results show that the design of high-speed large capacity image storage memory speed, large storage capacity, small size, high reliability, to meet the design requirements. In addition, the memory is highly portable and can be widely used for data storage in different occasions.
