Broadband phased array radar has the advantages of beam pointing flexibility,strong spatial resolving ability,strong anti-interference ability and multi-function,and has broad military application prospect.Data storage system as an important part of the radar system,due to broadband phased array radar function requirements,the signal sampling rate,the radar data storage system throughput and capacity put forward higher requirements.This paper focuses on the design and implementation of high-speed storage system of broadband phased array radar,and studies the key issues such as high-speed,high-capacity storage architecture design,high-speed data storage and high-speed data playback.The main contents of this paper are composed of four parts:In the first part,a high-speed and high-capacity storage scheme of radar system is proposed in combination with the background and project requirements.First of all,combined with the project needs,put forward the overall structure of the storage system.Secondly,from the point of view of saving cost and realizing high-speed storage,it is proposed to use solid-state storage technology and disk array technology to realize data high-speed and high-capacity storage,and design the data path of each storage subsystem.Finally,according to the characteristics of high-speed storage system data,the scheme of high-speed playback based on DirectX is proposed.The second part realizes the real-time storage and management of high-speed data stream based on software.First of all,the overall structure of the host computer software was designed.Secondly,real-time storage for high-speed data streams,PCIe 2.0 / 3.0 protocol and DMA data transmission technology to achieve the host and FPGA data transmission,the use of ping-pong cache mechanism to further improve the PCIe bus bandwidth utilization,the use of memory pool technology to achieve the final data storage.Using PCIe time division multiplexing ideas to achieve real-time,parallel storage of multiple data.Thirdly,design the network transmission protocol interface is used to realize the communication between the radar main system and the storage system,and the database technology is used to realize the effective management of the data.Finally,the concrete realization of each host computer software is given.The third part of the data playback technology to study.By analyzing the structural characteristics of the radar frame data,the pattern string matching algorithm is used to realize the fast analysis of the radar frame data in the data file,and the reasonable data structure is used to realize the flexible management of the frame data.Finally,DirectX technology is used to realize the fast playback of the data.Verify the reliability of the collected record data.The fourth part of the system part of the performance and measured data were tested to verify the storage system design rationality,effectiveness and reliability.The research work of this paper ensures the reliable storage of high-speed data stream in radar data storage system,guarantees the follow-up data processing,and promotes the development of a broadband phased array radar.
