This paper selects the <Go fighting!> and <X-change>,the two different styles of reality TV show for a comparative analysis of the cases,in the perspective of cultural studies, social context, text representation and audience decoding the three level as the key point, study of China's current reality TV show and analysis. The two text cases of <Go fighting!> and <X-change> are described and analyzed in a comprehensive, thorough and thorough way by using the literature method, the theoretical method of cultural research, the case analysis and the text fine reading.Based on the theory of cultural research, the social context of the program, the text of the program and the audience of the program are deeply analyzed through repeated viewing of the program over and over again. We should strive to analyze the text's internal operation and analyze how the text works and how it is produced. The text carries on the narrative analysis, the symbol analysis and so on.It explains how the writer constructs text by using narrative style and symbol system. It has been found that the two programs of <Go fighting!> and <X-change> have a large gap in the social context. The <Go fighting!> program was born in the moment of the invasion of consumer culture,so its program text is highly commercialized. The production of the program is the result of popular culture and elite culture and official discourse, which is represented as an identity experience in the text.In terms of textual representation, there are obvious differences in the narrative and symbolic dimensions of the two.<Go fighting!> is characterized by "entertainment" as narrative feature, plot and character setting. The program is characterized by "conflict" and its style. In the symbol dimension,<X-change> shows a variety of stars in a diversified environment, creating a three-dimensional and full visual spectacle. The transformation program shows the experiences of urban youth and rural juveniles in the context of dual opposition between rural and urban areas. In terms of the decoding level of the audience, the audience of <Go fighting!> is in the vicissitude of the media context, liberating the self in a "discourse carnival" to satisfy the desire of the game.Audience on the deformation meter show hero, the hero in the city and the rural life after swap record decode,in this process the identity of their rural or urban identity, andcomplete the different status of rural or urban experience. At the same time,we make fun of the text, and complete the construction of self-identity by means of resistance decoding. Finally,as a representative of the contemporary Chinese reality TV show two, from the<Go fighting!> and <X-change> two program can be seen the "entertainment to death" of contemporary Chinese media ecology, the hidden behind a complex set of cultural issues and need to be addressed. The previous study of reality show often uses the path of communication, which is very rich in the analysis of the content of the program, the analysis of media, the analysis of the audience and so on.Few of them pay attention to the reality show from the perspective of cultural research and contrast. The method of cultural research jumps out the limitations of the internal structure of the text, and puts the reality show text in a broad social context and seeks its complex interaction with the social culture, thus deconstructing the meaning structure dominated by the text. This study uses the theoretical framework of the cultural research school to compare the production mechanism of the reality show <Go fighting!> and <X-change> in the context of their respective times, and to make a deeper understanding of the ideological struggle and negotiation behind the text,as well as the guidance of the decoding behavior of the audience to the meaning of the text.In order to reconstruct the cultural problems hidden behind the contemporary media ecology in China,we need to reexamine it in a more long-term perspective.
