Clinical Observation Of Xinqianganju Decoction In The Treatment Of Postoperative Chronic Rhinosinusitis

Objective By comparing the improvement of clinical symptoms and signs,nasal mucosa under nasal endoscope and nasal sinus CT examination results before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy of Xinqian Ganjie Decoction in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis was evaluated,and the possible mechanism of drug action was explored,which provided theoretical basis for the clinical application of Xinqian Ganjie Decoction in chronic rhinosinusitis.Methords 166 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis after endoscopic sinus surgery were randomly divided into treatment group(83 cases)and control group(83 cases).The control group was treated with comprehensive western medicine.On this basis,the treatment group was treated with Xinqian Ganjie Decoction based on differentiation of symptoms and signs.The course of treatment was 12 weeks.To observe and compare the improvement of clinical symptoms and signs,nasal mucosa under nasal endoscopy and CT examination results of sinuses before and after treatment,and objectively evaluate the effect of Xinqian Ganjie Decoction on the rehabilitation of chronic rhinosinusitis after operation.Results Before treatment,the general data of sex,age,course of disease and condition of the treatment group and the control group were statistically analyzed,showing no significant difference(P > 0.05),indicating that there was comparability between the two groups.The results of clinical curative effect of treatment group and control group showed that:(1)The total VAS score of clinical symptoms: there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05);after treatment,the symptoms of the two groups improved significantly at all time points,which was compared with the control group,there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group at 2 days and 4 weeks after operation(P > 0.05);there was significant difference between the two groups at 8 weeks,12 weeks and 1year after operation(P < 0.001).(2)Lund-Kennedy score under nasal endoscopy: there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05);after treatment,the nasal mucosa of the two groups improved significantly at 12 weeks and 1year after treatment(P < 0.05);there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P > 0.05).(3)Lund-Mackay score: There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).One year after operation,the CT score of the two groups was significantly improved(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P > 0.05).(4)The total effective rate of the two groups was 92.68% in the treatment group and 78.04% in the control group.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion Xinqian Ganjie Decoction can effectively improve the symptoms of nasal obstruction,runny nose,headache and hypoolusia after the operation of chronic rhinosinusitis.It is suggested that Xinqian Ganjie Decoction,a traditional Chinese medicine,may play its anti-inflammatory,anti-bacterial,anti-allergic and other multiple roles in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis through multi-channel and multi-target.
