A Comparative Study On The Clinical Efficacy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Formula Granules And Traditional Chinese Medicine Decoction In The Treatment Of Seborrheic Alopecia Of Damp-heat Fumigation Syndrome

Objective: To compare the clinical effects and safety of different dosage forms of solid hair lotion in the treatment of seborrheic alopecia with damp and heat fumigation.Methods:90 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into three groups:30 people in the regular group only took Shenying Yangzhentang.In the granule group,30 people were added with compound solid hair lotion granules on the basis of the regular group.In the decoction group,30 people were added with compound solid hair lotion decoction on the basis of the conventional group.A course of treatment lasted for 1 month,and each group is treated continuously for one course.The scores of hair loss,greasiness,itching,dandruff scores before treatment,after 2 weeks of treatment and after treatment are recorded for each patient.Finally the data of each group were analyzed by statistical software and then determine the efficacy.Results:(1)In terms of total efficiency,the decoction group was the best at 93.1%,followed by the granule group at 86.2%,and the conventional group at the lowest,64.2%.There was no statistically significant difference between the decoction group and the granule group(P> 0.05).Compared with the conventional group,which were better than the conventional group(P <0.05).(2)After 2 weeks of treatment,the number of hair loss,greasiness,itching,and dandruff scores of the granule group and the decoction group all decreased compared with before treatment(P <0.05),while the conventional group did not decrease significantly compared with before treatment(P<0.05).(3)After the course of treatment,the scores of various indicators of the three groups were reduced to varyingdegrees.The decoction group and granule group decreased significantly and there was no statistically significant difference between this two groups(P> 0.05),which were better than the conventional group(P <0.05).Conclusion: In this study,t he formula granules and decoction of compound solid hair lotion have the same therapeutic effect in the treatment of seborrheic alopecia with damp and heat fumigation.Comparatively,the granules have the advantages of portability,esay storage,instant use and so on.Clinically,they can be use for supplement or alternative treatment when the patients are inconvenient to use the decoction,providing more convenient choices for patients.
