Obje ctive : The clinica l effect of new inj ury wet compress on acute ankle sprain(grade qi stagnat ion and blood stasis type),its safety and efficacy were analyzed to provide theoretical basis for further promotion and applicat ion in clinical practice.Method: From March 2017 to October 2018,100 cases of acute ank le sprain(grade I,II,qi stagnat ion and blood stasis type)in t he outpatie nt and emerge ncy department of t he first hospita l of changde cit y were randomly divided into control group and treatme nt group,wit h 50 cases in each group.In addit io n to rele vant clinical e xa minat ion and basic treat ment,the treat ment group was treated wit h externa l applicat ion of wet compress for new injur y for 15~20min/ time,2 times /d for 4 weeks.Contro l group :Yunna n baiyao tincture were app lied externa lly for 15~20min/ time,2 times/day for 4 weeks.Swelling,pain degree and joint move ment funct ion of the affected limb after treatment were recorded.Statist ical soft ware SPSS 22.0 was used for statistical analysis and processi ng.Result:Both groups were effect ive in the treatme nt of acute ank le sprain,and the difference between the two groups before and after treat ment was statist ically significa nt(P < 0.05).The total effect ive rate of the treat ment gro up was 97.29%,and that of the contro l group was 95.12%.The difference was not statist ically significant(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in the results of safety e xa minat ion before and after observat ion,and no adverse reactions occurred in all patients.Conclus ion:Wet compress for new inj ur y can effect ive ly treat acute ankle sprain without obvious side effects and adverse reactions.
