With the acceleration of the aging process in China,the health status of the elderly is not optimistic.The development of the aging service industry is still unbalanced,and the contradiction between supply and demand is still severe.The current lag in the living environment for the elderly and the serious shortage of spiritual comfort services for the elderly are also outstanding issues in the current pension system.Today,people's spiritual material and cultural levels have been significantly improved.People's health awareness and ecological concepts have been significantly improved.Older people are pursuing their own physical and mental health.Rehabilitative landscapes are slowly entering our lives.Rehabilitative landscapes are based on the rational design of landscape elements,resulting in good stimulation of human organs,thus helping people to defend against diseases,relieve physical and mental health,and restore health.Through understanding the application of rehabilitative landscapes in the landscape design of modern elderly settlements,investigating and understanding relevant cases at home and abroad,analyzing the changes of rehabilitative landscape belts to elderly settlements,starting from the psychological,physiological and behavioral characteristics of the elderly The Application of Rehabilitative Landscape in Modern Elderly Residential Areas.Rehabilitative landscapes provide the elderly with visual,auditory,tasting,tactile,olfactory and other multi-faceted rehabilitation landscape experiences through the delicate design of plants,water bodies,and service facilities.This article is devoted to the study of the construction of rehabilitative landscapes in the elderly settlements.It also analyzes the special needs of the elderly groups for the outdoor environment in residential areas and summarizes the design principles and methods for rehabilitative landscapes in the elderly settlements.The author takes the landscape design of Yunqing Garden in Kunming as an example to create an elderly residential rehabilitation landscape design that aims at the physiological,psychological needs and behavioral habits of the elderly.Combining the project to demonstrate and apply the research results of the article,it will provide some references for the research and practice of rehabilitation landscape design in the elderly settlements in the future.
