Research On Rehabilitation Landscape Design Strategies For Elderly Care Communities

With the development of the times and rapid economic growth,the issue of aging population in China has become increasingly prominent,and the issue of elderly care has become a major focus of national and social attention.At present,many elderly people are unable to receive sufficient care and attention due to various reasons,and the issue of elderly care is becoming increasingly severe.How to improve the physical and mental health of the elderly,improve their quality of life and sense of happiness has become an important challenge before us.As a residential area for the elderly,elderly care communities need to be comprehensively designed and constructed to meet the different needs of the elderly.However,current research on elderly care communities mainly focuses on the aging design of the interior of buildings,and there is relatively little research on the outdoor landscape of elderly care communities.In fact,the design of outdoor landscapes is crucial for the physical and mental recovery of the elderly.This article aims to explore the rehabilitation landscape design of elderly care communities and make constructive contributions to improving the health level of the elderly.The main work of this study is as follows: Firstly,by collecting and organizing relevant data on rehabilitation landscapes,referring to relevant research results at home and abroad,and combining with the actual situation of elderly care community landscapes in China,the current research status and future design trends of rehabilitation landscapes in elderly care communities in China are analyzed.Then,in response to the current problems of single landscape function,lack of participatory landscape,monotonous plant configuration,and lack of humanized design in the rehabilitation landscape design of elderly care communities,while meeting the different needs of the elderly,a design strategy for improving the landscape spatial function,promoting environmental perception,enriching plant configuration,and optimizing outdoor facilities of the rehabilitation landscape of elderly care communities is proposed.Finally,taking the Fuyuan Warm Heart Community in Shenzhen as an example,the overall landscape,road system,functional zoning,and special system of the rehabilitation landscape are designed.In summary,this article sorts out the theoretical system of rehabilitation landscape design for elderly care communities.Through on-site investigation and research,taking Fuyuan Warm Heart Community in Shenzhen as an example,it proposes design principles and strategies that meet the needs of elderly people in China.The research results indicate that reasonable rehabilitation landscape design is of great significance for the physical and mental health recovery of elderly people in elderly care communities,and has certain reference value for subsequent practical research on rehabilitation landscape in elderly care communities.
