Study On The Design Of Landscape Environment Of Elderly-oriented Dwelling District

At present,the global trend of population aging are becoming increasingly more intense,different countries have made different levels of research on the issue of the construction of dwelling environment for the elderly under the aging background.As a populous country,improving the living environment of the elderly can not only enhance the well-being of the elderly and but also help with national and world stability.Compared with other countries,China has different national conditions and special historical and cultural background,thus how to create high-quality outdoor environment for the elderly to promote physical and mental health is an issue with rich social significance worth studying.So this topic starts from the current aging situation in China and the residential outdoor environment required in consideration of the physical and mental health of the elderly,and makes a series of studies on the landscape design of the residential area in line with the needs of the elderly and put forward the point of view of the author.At the first part of this article,it presents the research background,purpose,significance of the issue,and analyzes the current research status at home and abroad to determine the research methods,research content and innovation.At the second part of the paper,it illustrates relevant concepts about the environment design of the residential area of the elderly,and makes analysis of the physiological,psychological and behavioral characteristics and needs of the elderly in China,and tentatively summarizes the strategies about residential landscape design according with the features and the needs of the elderly,and then makes a summary of the relevant psychology,environmental behavior theory of the elderly.As the emphasis of this article,the third part puts forward the design principles of the scenery and environment of elderly-oriented residential districts based on the current situation in our country,the physical and psychological characteristics and needs of elderly people and relevant theories,which provides theatrical instruction for the latter content in the article.Then it puts forward the scenery design of the elderly-oriented residential district and specific design methods on the design of public activity space in the residential district,the sidewalks,green plants and public facilities.In the fourth part,the author makes field study of two cases: Beijing Yihai Garden and Sun City of Orient,and discusses the general situation of the project,design methods and deficiencies,aiming to prove thetheoretical research of the landscape design of residential area for the elderly,to provide reference for related designs in the future.At the fifth part,it put forwards suggestions on improving laws and regulations,the development of the evaluation system,management mode changes based on the situation of China,and makes reasonable prospect for the future development of residential landscape design.
