The coal industry,as a traditional energy source,suffering the impact of today’s big data and the new concept of human resources management,only constantly explores,innovates,improves and quickly integrate into the new development trend.Training and developing the core human resources in particular are being challenged.The middle managements in the enterprise as link between the senior executives and the common employees,take responsibility for uniting and coordinating each department to achieve its strategic goal.These middle managements have been the backbone force and the core-competitiveness in their companies,making more significant contribution to their company growth.DL is a listed group company dedicated to research,manufacture and sale coal products.The middle and senior managements from the group’s sub-branches and the middle managments from the group are the core of human resources as well as the research object.And strengthening the training of this group of personnel is the core of the company’s training work.The competency assessment is the foundation of the training system.This paper summarizes the theory of competency model through literature research,combines with the theory of enterprise training,studies and formulates the competence model of middle management positions in DL companies,analyzes the competence of existing middle managers,and explores the lack of competence quality of middle managers through job matching analysis.According to studying Competency model theory and Enterprise training theory,the author research and establish the middle management competency model theory of DL group company for analyzing the situation DL middle managements competency,helping them dig their weaknesses,constituting true middle management training scheme,setting up perfect train system,assessing the training effect and make the feasible training safeguards.In the end,it will provide a sustainable supply of middle and high-level talents for the future strategic development of DL companies,and ensure that enterprises are invincible in the competition of talent strategies.
